Depends on your definition of "better". The PS4/Xbox One versions are slightly better graphically, but the Wii U version has some (to me) invaluable exclusive features, like Off-TV Play and a Miiverse community. So while the PS4/Xbox One versions have, as said, a slight upper hand when it comes to graphics, I'd say that the Wii U version has a clear upper hand when it comes to gameplay and the game experience in general, which is far more important to me. :)
And while better graphics would be lovely, it's slight enough that (for me personally) the wii u's ability to play offtv takes the cake.
Just being able to lay in bed with tons of blankets and playing on the gamepad is amazing.
The PS4 Does off TV play as well if you have a vita.
This is true, although it's generally not as good as the Wii U Off-TV Play - and on a smaller screen, too.
Not to mention I can never seem to get the hang of using a Vita as a controller comfortably (and believe me; I've tried...) whereas the Wii U GamePad is one of my favourite controllers of all time.
Also, the Wii U version still has the Miiverse community as a definitive exclusive feature. Miiverse compatibility alone is usually enough for me to prefer the Wii U versions of all multi-platform games when possible, really.
