All the girls and women here wear bikinis. It's so annoying. They can show themselves off as much as they like (I really don't care either way, I can only feel much attraction if I'm very emotionally close with someone so I have no care for appeal) but seriously culture and stores seem to make it where they can't wear anything but bikinis.

Oh well, I guess I should be thankful culture and stores don't make us guys wear only Speedos or tight European togs.

The "big deal" is called a partialism, as in what you call an attraction to a certain body region or part (i.e. feet, hair, bums, so on). I have far less strong partialisms for certain regions than a lot of guys (leading me to being mistakenly called gay), but most straight boys and men do have them and thus find said regions very appealing. There may be pressure by the media to wear certain styles or have a certain body type, but at the same time they aren't being forced either.

In a way I could ask the same thing about why women may like abs on guys so much.

There's way too much complicated science behind it that I just don't get; and it reaches a point where I just throw my hands up and say "because biology".

Seriously, bras and underwear are often less revealing than a lot of swimsuits (which drives my more logical side crazy over the fact that people wear more revealing clothing in public than they do in private).

One girl I know sorta solved the problem by getting a cover that she could wear over a bikini, so a little less wholesome than a one piece but still far more dignified.

I for one find a woman's hair (*quickly shouts out before being shot* on her head, to be clear) to be more appealing than pretty much any other area but I guess I'm not really not the normal case XD (but I'm in a relationship so I really shouldn't allow myself to be attracted to anywhere on anyone except the person I'm in a relationship with, so I can ignore others pretty easily).

All the girls around here wear those. One pieces aren't that much seen anyway. I still don't see the problem with it.

In some cultures the, ahem, more traditional way to feed babies, is considered perfectly fine to do in public. So there you can see plenty of women topless from that. If everyone's used to it people are less attracted over all.
That being said, I'm fine with the anti nudity laws we have in America.
