I'm a huge Ridley fan, but I don't think his chances are very high anymore. After all of the teases, his chances are kinda low.

If anything, they're high. Why would Sakurai tease Ridley this much, only to make him a stage boss?

Here's what I think is gonna happen. Sakurai is gonna tease Ridley so much that the fans are gonna buy it just to get him and get sad when he isn't in it. Then Nintendo gets the money and that's all that matters in the end. Then they make him DLC for more money!

Speaking of DLC,who do you think will be DLC? I personally think of hawlucha or sceptile,bandanna dee and bowser jr. The DLC should be free though.

This is how I think DLC should be handled.

I love Bowser Jr., but I don't want him in this game. Just because I want him to transform into Shadow Mario.

Pic of the day. If you get caught in the Boss Galaga item's tractor beam, it will carry you away to the top of the screen. You can shoot it down, but it won't join you in battle for double the firepower.

I really hate the idea of Ridley being a character. He is just too big of a character to be playable to me.

Ruby and Sapphire are getting remakes, not FireRed and Leaf Green. FR and LG are remakes of the first gen games, Red and Green. They're not getting remakes. If Pokemon from Gen 3 gets in to Sm4sh, it would be Sceptile.

Since the stage is paper, it transforms when it folds over and opens up again. This ship is the S.S. Flavion from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

As Sakurai states, this stage is based off the Paper Mario games, so far it has taken inspiration from Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, though I wouldn't be surprised if a transformation of the stage features Paper Mario and Super Paper Mario inspired levels.

The first picture shows what seems to be W1-2 from Paper Mario Sticker Star, Sakurai says that strong winds will be a part of this transformation, which seems to be coming from the fan in the background. A fan was found in this level of the original game as well. Seeing as all of the characters are running in the same direction, along with the fact that it looks like we don't see a bit of the level here, it seems you may have to run against the wind in order to stay on the stage and not fall into the gigantic pit.

The second shows the S.S. Flavion, with the Gooper Blooper in the background, this Blooper was in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, but it was to be found in the Rougueport Sewers, not near the S.S. Flavion. The ship is attacked by Embers however, so I wonder if they will make an appearance. Anyway, Gooper Blooper is most likely a stage boss for this part of the level. The S.S. Flavion will most likely play like Pirate Ship did, except with the possible lack of swimming.

I would have to agree. also,I want him to hold a spoon.

To be honest, I really don't want Mewtwo or Sceptile, after Jigglypuff gets confirmed I think that's enough Pokemon.

I love Pokemon and all, but I don't want a bunch, we already have a lot.

This stage appears to take place around N's castle from Pokemon Black & White, (Please correct me if i'm wrong, I never played Black and White). It seems to be like Spear Pillar, three Pokemon will change the stage in different ways depending on which one is attacking.

Pseudo-Palutena and Palutena's temple built Palutena up, Mii Fighters had been built up with the Find Mii stage, Little Mac with the Boxing Ring, Rosalina with Mario Galaxy. Even with supposed characters there has been some build-up, Marshal from Rhythm Heaven with the Sneaky Spirit appearing in Smash Run. Heck, look at the entire Ridley argument at the top of this page.

Rayman was just shown randomly, no build-up, no teases, no trailers, not even Sakurai's usual trolling.

Could the TWO trophies not be considered build-up? It stirred up enough controversy and hype, after all.

And as I keep repeating - people need to stop pretending Sakurai has any patterns, he has broken every perceived pattern so far. For example, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, and Villager had no build up. What you see as build up in most of these cases, I see as completely separate info reveals.

It should also be noted that the guy who claimed Rayman is playable is in charge of Marketing, Communications, and Partnerships at Nintendo of Canada. If anyone is going to be in the know about third party reps, it's him, since Rayman being in the game would be a partnership at Ubisoft. So if THIS guy says he's playable, it must mean something.

Also, I would bet my entire life savings that you, or anyone else, would not doubt this guy if he said Ridley.
