Are they all new coming in Walmart Displays or something? Is Acti trying to lower the value by flooding the market? What gives?

IDK actually, but if you search the triple pack with boomer there also seems to be alot of them recently sealed and as low as $30 which is crazy.

I would think the Boomers themselves would run for like $30 lol
I dunno, maybe they're re-releasing older variants. That'd actually be kind of funny if they did though.

There aren't very many on eBay at all. Only 6 are on there.
They would never reproduce these chase figures. They make a limited amount and discontinue them immediately after they're created and shipped out. As mentioned, Silver figures can be very easily faked. I've seen at least 20 fakes sell on eBay.

If they can repaint series 1 figures and call them Eon's Elite I would not be the least bit surprised if they reproduced chase figures. It all equals money.

Which is why I'm not bothering with the silver and gold SSA chase stuff. People could paint one and stick it in the packaging for easy profits.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed. |

Maybe with Walmart starting to sell Spyros Adventure toys again, they're mixing in some chase variants in the shipments.

That would be cool. There are always a handful of figures missing when I find those displays around Walmart. I guess there are many who still haven't finished their SSA collection.

Even if they reproduced these characters (which isn't likely at all), there are still dozens of fakes floating around, like this one that sold for $95:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Skylan...=p2047675.l2557 You can see the green plastic on his nose.

I bought a loose Silver Boomer on ebay for rather cheap, but the paint on the nose did chip and is green underneath; BUT there is a chip on the dynamite and it looks dark green/dark grey. That boomer had green on the finger and red dynamite, either mine is fake or that one...or both lol

You positive? Every loose Silver Boomer ive seen has the same damage on the nose. The dynamite has a small scratch in it and its dark grey underneath. The paint is pretty flawless if its custom its pretty well done. Now its tme to contact the seller.

Yes; all Chase Variants are a single plastic color underneath the paint. I own two loose Gold ones and they both have silver-ish plastic underneath.

That's what's weird is a few spots have chipped due to use and its all darkish grey. Even the ears are darkish grey only the nose is real boomer color...how odd. Well got my first and last fake I guess.

Wouldn't an authentic silver boomer register as rare on the SSA portal ,or any other portal, for that matter anyhoo??

Nope, the older chase figures didn't have a "rare" tag.

It's very likely they sprayed it with a grey primer before they painted it silver.
