Agreed, the worst thing about having no Sparx isn't that you're about to die, it's that you have to manually collect every gem! smilie
Hmmmm that sounds like quite the challenge. Try completing Misty Bog for the first time with no Sparx! smilie

Definitely in Ripto's Rage, because I feel like the enemy AI was the weakest in that one. Except for the Earthshapers. <.<;

It depends on the level on my case. I can survive simple levels with reasonable amount of standard opponents without Sparx quite easily. Of course the pain in the backside is collecting the gems since it becomes quite a meticulous task when one has to rely on sole physical touch basis with Spyro and the gems.

When I play more difficult levels that are usually seen in the end of the games, survival without Sparx is hopeless. Even though I consider myself a good Spyro player, I have too dare-devilish approach to playing. I keep on charging all the time and sometimes don’t pay the best possible attention on the enemies. So I usually take a surprise sudden hit and fail.

Dino Mines would probaby be the most difficult without Sparx. Some of the shots are very tricky to avoid.

I just thought about it, and any level of the Legend games would be easy without Sparx, because aside frm pointing at a couple of things he's useless there. smilie

I'm pretty sure I can 100% a level without taking any damage. I've done it several dozens of times.

I wonder if anyone could complete an entire game without Sparx. At a guess Spyro 1 would probably be the easiest game in which to do it. Might give it a try tomorrow. For science. smilie

Spyro 2 is definitely the easiest game to do it, as you can complete the game in ten minutes with only one talisman. After Glimmer, the only thing you can get hit by is the bosses.
