*LONELY*

Moonfate glanced at the bushes where Rubystone was hiding.

Moonfate looked back at the weird fish and managed to finally haul it out of the water. then she narrowed her eyes and looked at the bushes again. She turned back to the fish once more and prodded it.

Moonfate heard Rubystone's sigh and stared at the bushes again. "I think we're being watched..." she muttered.

*WHATEVER. MOONFATE IS VERY GOOD AT HEARING THINGS.*

"I can't tell if it's an omen," Sundapple mewed disappointingly, shaking her head. "I wish Mintleaf were still here. She could have interpreted this. I'm horrible at signs from StarClan." The she-cat glanced up at the sky, wishing there were stars there to guide her.

Lakestar hissed. "Let the squirrel stay over there. ThunderClan may own Sunningrocks - for now - but the mouse-brains never cross the river."


Sweetleaf purred. "How about this thrush?" she mewed, pointing her tail at the plump bird at the top of the pile.

Moonfate narrowed her eyes and sighed. "What would a weird fish omen mean anyway?" she asked. "That the fish would all become weird? That the fish will all leave, and mutilated weird ones like these will come?"

OCC: So yeah, FuryBeam I am assuming you are not actually going to post on my pokemon role play.

Spirit Eye makes it back to camp and drops his kill of in the kill pile. He looks around and waits for Two-Star.

Moonfate glared at the bushes once more before turning to a minnow in the river. The minnow spiraled lazily before Moonfate lashed out and caught it.

OOC: ahhhhh! I have been too lazy these days to check this. I know it's short, I had to go somewhere and didn't have time to finish.

Ashwhisker walked up to Dawntail. "Hello! I'm going to be hunting in the territory with Blackeye, if anyone asks where we are."

Dawntail gave him a quick lick on the ear and said, "Okay. Come back to camp later, please."
She followed him to the camp entrance and then watched as he walked to the forest.

Silverstripe nodded to Sundapple. "Hmm, I see. Well, if it was important, I'm sure there would've been a sign." She turned to stare at the strange fish once more. Was it edible?

Wolfstar's eyes twinkled happily as he agreed, going over to fetch the thrush. He grabbed it and made his way back to Sweetleaf, settling down near the edge of camp, not too far from where they'd been originally.

Shadeflight smiled as she caught the scent of a shrew. Getting into the hunter's crouch, she tread carefully across the peaty grass. The shrew whipped its head up in surprise and scurried away, just as soon as her paws thudded where it had been. The black she-cat growled angrily, elder-chatter reaching her ears. They had scared the shrew away!

ooc: What is it? Newleaf, Leafbare or any other month? I'm confused, and I can't hunt because if it's leafbare and I bring back lots of plump prey, it would be just.. wrong.

*I don't know... I haven't been hunting anyway.*

Moonfate looked into the river. "Do you know what this fish could be?" she asked. "Is it edible? Is it poisonous? For StarClan's sake, it could carry disease for all I know!" Moonfate started towards the camp. "If we don't know what it is, I think it's best to leave it."

OCC: Just so you know, the Shadowclan elders have been hunting the entire leaf fall. They have already been reeducated in hunting.

And @Herr Okay, good to know! X3 Shadeflight just has bad luck, lol.

Straightening up, Shadeflight stalked up to the elders. "You scared off my shrew!" she snapped. They both turned to stare at her. "We were discussing the thought of going and hunting at Carrionplace. We hunted there all the time as warriors."
Shadeflight snorted. Would Twostar be fine with the slightly easier source of prey, with the possible chance of getting ShadowClan sick? "I don't care," she meowed. "Just discuss your things a little quieter!" The black she-cat then whirled away and vanished into the undergrowth.

"That's a decision for the Clan leader to make, not you," murmured Silverstripe under her breath. With a sigh, she looked up. "Lakestar, what do you think we should do?"

Moonfate turned about halfway back to the camp and went to another part of the river, far enough away from Sunningrocks that she wouldn't be noticed by her Clanmates. She needed some time alone, needed some time to hunt.

Dawntail looked over to see Rubystone asking Wolfstar a question!

Wolfstar got up from his location to gaze at Rubystone calmly. "Sure thing. Would you care to talk in private or is it okay in front of my mate?"

"Let's hunt where there are a lot of nuts, the squirrels will be stocking up", Ashwhisker said. He padded quietly up to the nut tree, making sure the prey couldn't smell him. Sure enough, He caught the smell of squirrel, two maybe. The warrior crouched and saw two plump squirrels gathering, and eating some, nuts. He was getting ready to pounce, and waited until the two squirrels were close to each other. Ashwhisker pounced and caught one squirrel with his mouth and the other with his claws. He held them together and killed them by biting hard onto their bellies. He buried them next to the camp entrance and went looking for some more prey.

Wolfstar narrowed his eyes slightly at this piece of news. RiverClan, near SunningRocks? Were they going to fight for it soon? Between giving ShadowClan a place to hunt and SunningRocks, ThunderClan was losing its territory quickly.
"Did you hear anything they were saying?" Wolfstar asked.

Moonfate caught a minnow from the river and began to eat. Her irritation melted away with her hunger.

"Hmm," Wolfstar said with a sweep of his tail. "Perhaps they were just fishing..?"

Silverstripe tore her gaze from Lakestar to look at Moonfate. "You really should be feeding the elders first," she commented.

OOC: I probably won't be on here as frequent due to school starting in a couple of days here :/
Anyways, I'll post a little later ~

Moonfate went off in search of peace. she needed to find somewhere she could be alone.

Wolfstar was launched into thought again, as he tried to find out what RiverClan was doing if they weren't fishing. Perhaps they were watching the flow of the water and its current, trying to determine if they could launch an attack. The ThunderClan leader narrowed his eyes.
"They haven't tried to cross it," he rumbled. "But I don't trust them. I'll tell Dawntail to step up the patrols around the RiverClan border," he decided. "Thank you for this information," he told Rubystone with a dip of his head.

Shadeflight raised her head, a toad in her mouth. Scrawny, but at least enough for weaned kits. Her elders trailed behind, and she was aware of how painfully slow they moved. They were tired, worked to the bone, but she couldn't care less. The Clan came first as a whole. She dropped her catch on the pile, and the elders did the same. Shadeflight glanced around camp, looking for the leader or the deputy. She needed to know if there was anything else she needed to do, or if she could take a rest.

Two-Star nods to Shadeflight and walks over to her, Spirit Eye trailing behind him, "How did it go?"

Shadeflight opened her mouth to complain, but one of the elders beat her to it. "We were thinking of hunting in Carrionplace, if we aren't already," he revealed. "The rats out there are fatter than the ones in the forest."

Two-Star sighs, "Well, I have a few out there already. I am not really wanting too many to hunt there. It's dangerous enough to have any food from there... but if you think it would be worth it, I give you permission."

Spirit Eye sits patiently. He looks down to Shadeflight, a thought nagging him, "You didn't see any cats from other clans out there did you? I have a feeling that someone may want to take advantage of our position."

The elders dipped their heads. "Thank you, Twostar," the first one meowed. "We'll be careful," the other one added. They then got up and began walking off.

Shadeflight cocked her head at the deputy's question. "No. I was only in ShadowClan territory. Why would another Clan be in our territory?"

Two--Star sighs, "Well, given our clan's state we wouldn't be surprised if someone attacked us. No good deed goes unpunished as they say."

Spirit Eye nods, "That's what I've been expecting. No one has love for us."

Mate: Blazefoot

Personality: Stoneblaze is fierce in battle and often uses scathing words. He is not liked much by most cats, but Blazefoot is one of the few cats he shows his soft side to.

Appearance: He is a dark gray cat with a lighter gray belly.


Name: Ashpaw

Age: 7 moons

Clan: ThunderClan

Role: Apprentice (can her warrior name be Ashbreeze?)

Mate: None

Personality: Ashpaw is often sarcastic and acts like she knows everything, which she doesn't. She causes a lot of trouble for her mentor. Despite that, she is very loyal to ThunderClan.

Appearance: Ashbreeze is a dark gray she-cat with lighter gray stripes on her tail. Her ears have scratches on them.

OOC: ACCEPTED! Sorry I haven't been on, I will post tomorrow since I gotta finish homework, my school started last week. :/

"When can I be a warrior?" Ashpaw pestered Wolfstar. "I want to be one soon!" Ashpaw nudged Wolfstar over and over again, trying to get him to respond.

"Calm down." Blazefoot walked over to Ashpaw. "You can't be a warrior yet."

"I'm not a kit anymore!" Ashpaw snapped.

Moonfate calmly began to walk back to camp. By now she had caught a small fresh-kill pile of minnows and was bringing them back to camp.

A small smile crept across Wolfstar's muzzle at the lively young apprentice. "Young Ashpaw, you've only been an apprentice for one moon. Although there is much you learned, I am sure your mentor would agree that you still have to be taught." His gaze flicked to Blazefoot.

Shadeflight's eyes gleamed. "If there are any intruders, you can count on me to drive them off," she assured. "We won't be ShadowClan if the other Clans think they can steal from us!"

Cloverpaw watched Ashpaw from a distance, her ears flicking. She didn't admit it, but she thought it was brave how close the other apprentice was getting to the Clan leader.
Her eyes narrowed as she remembered the Clan meeting. What good leader would give away territory? To ShadowClan, no less! Those mouse-brains had better be grateful. Cloverpaw puffed out her chest. If she were leader, she wouldn't have showed them any mercy! Cloverpaw whirled around and stalked into the forest.

Two-Star's eyes glow defiantly, "No we won't."

Spirit Eye, "That is something we can agree on."
