3DS colored.



The 3DS is an alright handheld. It is leagues behind the DS though.

DS lite > GBA SP > 3DS.

The 3DS simply doesn't have a fantastic library like the DS did.

Unless you play a lot of GBA games, I'd just get a 3DS.

The 2DS wasn't made so kids couldn't use the 3D, because the option to turn it off is in the 3DS' settings. It was made so people had a cheaper alternative to the 3DS. Coincidentally, unless I'm wrong, it was released on the same day as Pokemon X & Y.

It was designed for younger kids, they removed the easily breakable hinge and made it unable to use 3D.

anywho, yeah, i still have my pink ds lite

both hinges are broken, so it just flops, the top screen is tinted red and it flashes red, and the A, the UP, and now the L buttons hardly work.

my DS lite still works mostly well, it's pink and has a smash bros melee skin. the top screen isn't perfect anymore though, it makes everything greenish unless you wiggle it around and keep it in a certain position

my combat blue DS lite works great. i went through two red ones before it though, both broke because i kept dropping them and pressing too forcefully on the stylus to the point where they wouldn't turn on smilie

The only working DS I have is my sister's old Coral Pink DS Lite, she never uses it so she pretty much let me have it. I pretty much only use it to play GBA games. I've gone through like 4 DS Lites, all of which were broken or made unusable by people other than me. This is why you should be careful about who you lend your stuff to kiddos.
