On the final battle of Bravely Default, gotta say, that's possibly my favorite final battle of all time, anyone who complains about Chapters 5-8 will definitely find the true ending worth it.

I mean, the carthartic pre-final boss was fun (and frustrating) enough, and was probably harder due to that bleepin' attack, but the final battle is still one of the most enjoyable I've ever played.

The music ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLBTIUzPpEQ possibly the greatest final battle theme of all time, the first 2 minutes are glorious enough and the rest are the background themes for different events in the battle, eat your heart out One-Winged Angel) is awesome enough to listen to if you haven't seen the battle, but even when you're expecting it, when you finally hear that choir begin in the back ground as you see (don't unspoil unless you've beaten or want to completely ruin it for yourself, trust me, you don't) descend, with , just the raw rush of power is stunning. And then when , it's just awesome in every way. Even if the final boss's design isn't near as terrifying compared to other Square Enix finals due to the art style (it still oozes with eldritch though), the sense of power and energy in the battle is just... wow. The unique camera angles for the final boss's attacks only make it even better.

I currently have it on sleep just to wait till no one's home again to fully enjoy it. It's also probably the only battle in the game I don't keep on fast-forward, just to make it last longer.

But seriously, haven't even finished the battle (NO SPOILERS PLEASE) but it's already my favorite of all time.

Maybe not final boss but, Emerald and Ruby Weapon from Final Fantasy 7, those fights took me hours to complete!!!!!

The final battle of BD was p cool. Nerve wracking for me because Edea and Tiz were K.O'd and I had to play between Ringabel and Agnès. Ringabel being the full brute attack and Agnès being the healer, I got lucky and she kept reviving herself but every time I revived the other two they were knocked down shortly after. Took a long time too.

Love that final dungeon music tho.

I died once and had to replay it all over again, then used a Guest summon to do 300k damage in the final round XD

But yes, nerve wracking, Conservation of Life, Double Max HP, and Rise from the Dead are quite helpful though.

That final battle music is glorious.

As for the ending itself, satisfying, but kinda depressing (but then this is Square Enix we're talking about). At least we've got Bravely Second coming soon.

Final boss in Bravely Default was too easy. I played hard mode.

Still pissed at this video game: "Get ****ed if you're under leveled or using the wrong ****ing character for a ****ing 14 round dumb **** boss fight 3"

Easy compared to the pre-final boss at least. I accidentally hit auto the first time around and he destroyed me with that Celestial Bomboardment, but the second time was no problem.
