My memory might be wrong but
Dangan Ronpa anime seemed a little rushed and they skipped out on almost all of the interact-the-characters parts from the game unfortunately.
Imo it was kind of eh though that might just be me.

I watched the dub

It was good but...it's really gory and the main character falls in love with a mass murderer, it has completely unnecessary topless shots of some of the girls, and there are some huge holes in how some stuff works

Other than that I liked it

Also Iceclaw you lied the 2nd ep of Akame ga Kill was fast as hell

I agree. If you wanna get into Dangan Ronpa it's definately a better idea to just read the let's play of the game. The anime kinda forgets it's based off a murder mystery game, so it's probably going to be 10x as confusing watching the anime.

I finished watching Toradora not that long ago and honestly it was probably the best romance anime I've watched in a long time although the ending did feel a little rushed but I still enjoyed it a lot.

Just watched the first episode of 'Dragon Ball' for the first time, since I got the Season One DVD box set yesterday for my birthday, and I'm enjoying it so far. Looking forward to see what the series, and the rest of the franchise holds. Just from the first episode I can definitely see the appeal of this and why it's so popular. o.o

Finished Clannad. 7/10 since I really didn't like it overall as much as I did a couple of episodes that I really liked

Plus I like the soundtrack for some reason

But the opening was terrible

Now I'll be finishing death note

I really loved Dragon Ball, and I enjoyed the first few seasons of Dragonball Z (it wasn't as good as Dragon Ball, but I still liked it).

but after the first few seasons of DBZ, it just gets bad, IMO.

I watched the next two episodes of Sailor Moon Crystal. I like Mars and Mercury. From what I watched of the original Mars was *****y and bossy. I like her more in the new anime.

The new art in the new anime is actually the old original art from the manga so that's not butchered, it's just using the original style.

I remember reading that the creator of the manga didn't like the old anime and is having a lot more control over the new one.

What they are doing with the new anime is taking out the filler episodes and being faithful to the manga. If anything the old anime butchered the manga.


The opening is great. Sailor Moon's transformation is weird as it's CGI. The CGI works better for the other two.

I occasionally see posts on other sites disliking the new anime and I wonder why that is?
