No. What does that have to do with this?

Owl Statues act as temp saves, meaning if you want to take a break, you go to the owl statue, save, and get taken to the title screen. Once you start the save again, the owl save goes away so if you don't save from the owl again when you want to quit, you start from the first day again.

If my memory is correct (its been awhile since I've played it), there should be one beside the clock tower.
Also, I think you need to be in human form to activate it. You have to hit it with your sword if I remember right.

No, you can still hit activate it just by doing the B attack.

Actually, you do need the sword to activate it. The statues even tell you that.

Looks like I'm definitely going to have to pull it out now.
You people are starting to confuse me about one of my favorite games o__O
Majora's Mask is one of the few Zelda games I've actually beaten.

You may not be able to save until you get the ocarina.
In which case you need to...

  1. Find the little fairy floating around
  2. Take fairy to Great Fairy and get magic (ability to shoot bubbles in deku form)
  3. Find the boy shooting a balloon (Shoot balloon!)
  4. Play with kids (get code)
  5. Use code to gain entry to observatory
  6. Look through telescope and find masked kid (top of clock tower)
  7. Collect moon tear
  8. Trade tear for deed to deku flower
  9. Use flower to get to clock tower doors on 3rd night
  10. Shoot masked kid (get ocarina back)
  11. Use ocarina smilie

This is the route you should take smilie
Please note, that this is written strictly from memory and may not be 100% accurate.
As for anyone else reading this, if I've missed something or made a mistake please say-so smilie

Something Extra smilie
  • Save your money at bank (the guy clapping his hands on the ground or something) and get rewards for saving certain amounts

  • Once you get the deed to the flower go to the toilet in the inn at midnight (give deed)

  • Must be Human: On first night (10-12 I think) near kid shooting balloon an old lady will be robbed (Stop the thief for reward)

  • That's all I can remember at the moment smilie
