It is E3 news, it was mentioned in Nintendo's Treehouse stream when they were showing the 3DS Smash Bros. They mentioned that as part of the many kinds of loot you can get in the game, there are stat changing equipment pieces just like the ones you described.

I wish we would get SOMETHING besides humans and that hideous Lickitung wannabe. Ridely, anything, just as long as it's not visually human, I want it. ...Unless it's from Earthbound/Mother.

...I know I'm being predictable, but it kinda bugs me that so far all we've pretty much gotten besides Pacman and Lickitung's unwanted challenged brother are humans. (Like I said, regardless of technicallities, I count anything with human appearance as human) And it's been bugging me for a while, cause I've really had my hopes up for more non-humans, and I know Nintendo has popular non-human characters. It can't all just be humans.

There's a new leak, I want it to happen really badly and there is some substance to it.



It was released a month ago, and it predicted yesterday's pic of the day...

2ND EDIT: Just thought I should go more in depth of what this leak could mean that the picture didn't already state...

-stg.osohe could be Osohe Castle from Mother 3, which could have Oh-So Snake as a stage boss. This also means that Lucas could be in the game!

-So far we haven't seen any Melee or 64 stages in the Wii U version, and no Brawl stages in the 3DS version, so these retro stages are entirely possible. (Edit:Looks like Green Hill Zone from Brawl is in the 3DS version, so this point is kinda invalid now.)

-sgt.sr388 is most likely the planet Metroid II: Return of Samus takes place on, as well as Metroid Fusion, called SR388. These are both portable games adding to that fact. A possible boss could be the Queen Metroid, seeing as it is the final boss of Metroid II.

-sgt.mtdedede is Mt. Dedede from Kirby Super Star, however it will most likely take it's look from Kirby Super Star Ultra due to that game being portable.

3RD EDIT: As TacoMakerSkys pointed out, Green Hill Zone is a retro stage from Brawl, which is not on the list of stages. This news is kinda disappointing to be honest. I was really hoping for this one. So this "leak" isn't as true as I wanted it to be, oh well!



EDIT: The Tomadachi Life stage is better shown in today's Pic of the day.



Pic of the day. This is the Tomodachi Life stage that's exclusive to the 3DS version! The front walls of the apartments disappear so you can see the area within when a fighter overlaps with the room. The rooms are randomly placed and selected from among several types. Planting an X Bomb behind a wall might be an effective tactic.




You might run into a Mii living in the room! The Mii characters are taken from the data in your 3DS system, so you could find your friends living in the apartments.

So the Tomadachi Life stage is pretty much Luigi's Mansion without breakable walls and it has your Mii's in it.

Also, I don't think just one reveal is enough to call the leak real. He's just lucky. If I see about 3 more reveals off this list, then I would go with thinking it's real.

Nope, it only works with friends online, or locally. Not in With Anyone mode.

Also what happened to Prism Tower from Pokemon? They didn't play it at E3 and he said he would play every stage. I wondered if it had a few bugs.
