I need some new cool friends to talk about this amazing series with.

i played person4gold and loved it. it was my first with this series. since then i got the persona3 portable for the psp, but i have not started on it yet. since i heard there is a better ps2 version of it, so im trying to get that one for the best game experience. also im waiting for ps3 persona5 that will arrive sometimes in 2015, but persona q:sotl will be arriving soon for the 3ds first

^Lets be best friends. And yes, Persona 3 FES is the best version, p3p had to make too much sacrifices to get it running on the PSP.

ok, and yes persona3fes is the best version i read. its kind a hard to get around here. i want to play it on the real thing, the ps2. but i will get it someday im sure. i have not tried the ps1 persona 1&2 but they dont look that good to me, only seen them on youtube. have you tried them?....

Persona 3 FES is $17 new on amazon, try that. The game has some ehish filler in the beginning but dang does the middle/end game get amazing.
As for Persona 1 and 2? Try the PSP versions. You loose the amazing music but the gameplay has been tweaked. They're definitely old games now, so they may not keep your interest. I'm currently playing Persona 2 IS right Noe, and its great.

i dont doubt the ps1/psp games of the first two are good story wise but what i have seen on youtube they look a bit to bare bone for my taste. anyway the good thing with persona games is that it have its own story for each games. its not like you will have to buy and play every game.

I know this topic is a bit old, but I've played and completed both Persona 3 FES & Persona 4, loved both. The friend that let me borrow them let me keep 4 since he has Golden, but I had to give FES back, but I'll end up buying it later down the road along with Portable. Really liked that recent Persona 3 movie that came out recently. I plan on going back to play Personas 1 and 2 on the PS1 sometime too.
