HOW DO I START TO LUCID DREAM???? I WANT TO TRY IT!!!
What I did was start up a dream journal. Directly after you wake up, write down everything you remember about the dream. Occasionally check back and read through until you start to notice patterns. (My pattern is that I'm always with a bunch of people, but it can be something as simple as an object.) Whenever you see the pattern in real life, take a note of it and ask yourself, "am I dreaming?" You'll get so used to doing it that you will do it in your dream. And then, you can answer "yes!" Once you're aware of the dream, you can control it!
Alternatively, I heard of a method called the "hands" method. It's where you hold up and look at your hands before you go to bed. Say something aloud and repeat it, along the lines of "I will lucid dream. I will lucid dream." It'll take many tries, but sometime in your dream you will wake up looking at your hands!
Another thing to note are watch/clock faces and words on books, for example. Words will be blurred, and clock faces might either be blurred or change every time you look at them in a dream. So get used to checking things over and over in real life, and you'll do it in the dream.
