Lego being a best selling toy makes no real difference about their partnership to Shell. Greenpeace is saying that because of their products being best sellers, Lego should be more responsible with who they make partnerships with, and end it with Shell.
The idea for me is that while oil is currently necessary, most gas companies are simply choosing to invest into getting more oil or fracking, rather than investing in finding/developing that alternative.
We don't have a fully viable alternative yet (though we're getting there). But we will never have that alternative if we choose to just invest in fossil fuels.
