Finally broke my streak of bad luck with shinies this week. After hatching literally hundreds of Eevee eggs to no avail i moved on. On monday i hatched a shiny 5IV Roggenrola and then yesterday i caught a shiny Nuzleaf on my break at work and a shiny Growlithe later that night at my bon fire twas a good day

No idea, it just means Nintendo doesn't want everything of this game dumped all on one day and that they want to extend it until the next game.

That's good for me imo, then I won't feel as bad if I don't get the game instantly.

Sturdy Shedinja+Safety Goggles+Thunder Wave (On Shedinja)=Almost Invincible
T-Wave Paralyzes it, so it can't be Poisoned/Burnt (which bypass Sturdy).
Safety Goggles make it immune to weather, so it can't by his by Hail/Sandstorm (also bypasses).
And Shedinja has 1HP, so it always endures the hit.

If you have a Wobbufett on your team, you can defeat at least 3 of the opposing player's Pokemon. If Sturdinja gets killed, just use a Contrary Malamar with Superpower or, if they're not banned in the competition/you can use them, a Sheer Cold Articuno or Power-Up-Punch Mega Kangaskhan.

With the amount of moves/abilities in Pokemon, Gamefreak need to be careful with what they're introducing. Just by giving one Pokemon a certain ability or move, it can become one of the most OP in the game.

Also, you can only get Sturdinja in Triple Battles, and you need to use a Sturdy Carbink that knows Skill Swap, and any Pokemon that knows a move that can make Pokemon lose their ability (e.g. Worry Seed).

Right, you seed shedinja, swap abilites then paralyze, all on turn one. Lead with that so they can't hazard you, and then have two guys on the side, (one with rapid spin) to muscle out the threats.

Carbink and Shedninja are slow.

Anyway, You could also phase shedinja out, when it comes back in, it won't have sturdy anymore. Thus being defeat-able.

They need to have a lot of speed to do this, so you need to fully train them in Speed. When using Sturdinja for the first time, use T-Wave. However, I can't try this, because my Circle Pad is broken and I can't Super Train, and I'm terrible at EV training. If someone can help me train them, I might give them some rare Pokemon (I have a lot of Zygardes, but that's more or less all I can offer). Now, turn exp. share on, and head to certain routes to search for hordes (sweet scent always spawns a horde) the routes and pokemon you should look for are as follows.

Connecting cave - Whismer - HP

Route 14 - Bellsprout - Atk

Route 10 - Nosepass - Def (warning, some of them have sturdy so it will take longer)

Frost Cavern - Vanillite (or smoochum) - Sp. Atk

Route 7 - Hoppip - Sp. Def

Route 8 (upper, accessed via connecting cave) - Wingull (or Taillow) - Spd.

There you go.

This has been EV training without super training 101. I'm not a pokemon professor, stay in school.

I'll try that. If it's not as fast as Super Training, I'll probably quit. And anyway, I accidentally kill the wrong Pokemon... A LOT.

Actually, it's better if you give the pokemon Pokerus, and the Power Item. If the horde pokemon gives 1EV, with pokerus and it's power item, it gets 50 EV's per horde.
