The Cold War will end once The Great War begins and it becomes a Hot War.

Who said you weren't already free? Or that the machine was a figment of the public's imagination? Very often we choose to just blame "the machine" for everything that is wrong with society but we never really realized it wasn't actually there to begin with.

Bring it to the level of what the UK has (no guns unless you're authority). Or at least have extremely strict laws and regulations on who can get a license, a la Japan.

I'm aware of the argument that people kill people not guns blah blah blah. But guns make it considerably easier and the detriments at this point far outweigh the benefits. I don't hear stories about how people managed to save their families or property out of self defense. I just hear stories of mass shootings.

The Second Amendment was made in a time where people had to defend themselves from invading tribes and remaining soldiers. They made militias, not an actual military. Such a case does not exist anymore, making the amendment outdated.
