There is no card inside. You have to scan the whole bag and it will be recognized by the App.
Sour Cream and Onion/Cheetos/Doritos Nacho have no characters on the bags

I did see this and thinking the same thing.
However, free is free... If not, I know that I will have a chance to see them in stores next year.

I forgot to mention that there is another version(Blue bag) of different chips (I did not get last night). It should have other characters on the individual bag of chips. At the time of purchasing I did not see the characters on the bags until I got home. I will get a picture of them today and post.
We like the BBQ and SCO(Pink bag) so I did not get the Blue bag.

Actually, that is not guaranteed to be true. While it worked out that way with Quickdraw, the same thing was written on the bags for Halloween Fright Rider. He was never given a retail release. I think the only reason Quickdraw did was because he was in-game.

If you scan the picture of the bag in post #7 Blippar App recognizes it and brings up the contest page. The App would not work on the picture of the bag in post #1.

I could not get the app to scan the post #7 (Maybe the glare). Are you saying that you got it to work when you scanned post #7?

I had just found a FR bag laying around here that I threw out, kept forgetting to toss it out I suppose. Anyway, I'm fairly certain when I read the back of that bag, it had an exclusivity date on it much like QD and this one too. Has any other Frito Lay non in-game variant ever seen a retail release? I'm only asking because I haven't been in the game that long, so I haven't been around for any other than FR and Rattle Shake.

The side kicks were originally Frito Lay promos (SSA and Giants). They are now in Game Stop and TRU during promotions as give-aways (One way or another).

Spyro is truly the Classic Skylander.

I guess Euruptor is not spicy enough to be on the Spicy Nacho bag.

I would have liked to see Flame Slinger on the Spicy Nacho bags.

I finally got post 7 to work. I had to change the IE settings to view at 75% and after 3 time-outs it finally worked.

Flocked Stump Smash was the original Frito Lay Promo. This was never released outside the Frito Lay Promo.

Hot Head was released as a Frito Lay Promo soon after he was found in stores. However he was hard to find for awhile so this promo helped others get him if they could not find him in the stores.

It wasn't Walmart. Walmart ones had coupons iirc for a single pack figure, and some stores either had the Random ones or the Flocked ones.

They're either painted differently, or are made of different clear plastic (it's probably the plastic).

Looks like the latter, there is nothing different from each bag. Will not know 100% until 7/7/2014 but I would say 99.999% sure.

It may take a few tries to work.
If you are using IE (Internet Explorer), you might want to try to scale the viewing to 75%.
If you look on the bottom right corner of IE, you will see a magnify glass with a "+" (Normally shows 100% next to it).

We got them for last weekend and for the 4th of July.

The Picture is from "Skylanders Customs by Dan", so, thanks Dan! He makes some nice customs like flocked Phantom Cynder or flocked Hot Dog. He's kind of a flcoking junkie I guess.

Finally found a ton of these at my local Walmart. Grabbed 4 just for the heck of it.

Anyone notice the Game Truck instructions?
If you attempt to sign up it tells you that you have to go to your local Grocery store and find the Skylander Frito Lay Display and scan the picture of one of the characters to enter the contest.
The problem is that the Display is called "Back to School", I don't know about your State but here in California school does not start until the middle/late of August.
The Contest for the Game Truck started last week, has anyone seen this "Back to School" display anywhere?

Back to School usually sets after the weekend of the 4th. This varies by area, of course, but is a general guide.
