Club Nintendo Wii U Help [CLOSED]

Do you have to link your wii u to your account on club nintendo or can you just register it with a pin number or something?

You have to make a Club Nintendo account fresh, then when you register your Wii U or buy a Wii U game, it will ask you to Link your Club nintendo from the Wii U.

But IDK, maybe I read your question incorrectly.

You have to have one, and he's inferring that he does, but doesn't know how to get the Wii U registered.

Yep. I only know that if you got the MK8 bundle, you have to link it.
If there's no code in the other bundles, then you would have to link it.

You're misleading him. You only have to link your Wii U to Club Nintendo if you're buying Mario Kart 8 digitally and want the free game promotion, otherwise, you don't have to link your Wii U if you don't want to.

If you bought the bundle, you have to link the system to register the game.

You don't get it. You don't HAVE to link the system from the MK8 bundle to register the game. The MK8 Wii U Bundle has a disc copy of MK8, which doesn't mean you have to link your Wii U. You only HAVE to link your Wii U if you get the game DIGITALLY.

No, the MK8 disc copy does not include a code when bought in the bundle. You have to link the system to register it.
I bought the bundle myself.

But he didn't get the bundle either, I don't think.

I wanted to know if I had to link my wii u to my account in order to register it. I know now I have to link it. And yes I had my Wii U before MK8, so I did not get the MK8 bundle. Thanks!

Kevin, listen. Since you got the Wii U before MK8, you don't have to register it to Club Nintendo to register any physical games. If you got the MK8 bundle, which you didn't, you don't have to worry about this.

Source: Been with Club Nintendo since Launch Month.

Ok, you should've included it in the original post. You can do it easier if you go into the eShop -> Settings -> Club Nintendo Account, then login from there

Ok, you should've included it in the original post. You can do it easier if you go into the eShop -> Settings -> Club Nintendo Account, then login from there
