Thinking about the fine details often makes me feel better when I'm upset. Because when life is hard, and it almost always is, thinking about all the amazing things about the world makes me feel better. I often think about other people in the world. In other states or countries. I wonder what they're doing, right now. I wonder what their life is like, if they have it better or worse than I do. Thinking about the vastness of our world makes me feel small. And sometimes I like to feel small. I like to feel like I'm a part of something big. Something that matters. It makes me feel important, like I'm not a nobody after all. I look at the stars, and wonder if anyone, anywhere, is looking at them too. I may not be religious, but I would like to believe that there is something after death. Something that connects me to you. I'd like to believe that it wasn't the end to your story. But rather the beginning.

I thought that I couldn't have possibly discovered that, that I'm too young to understand and whatever, but apparently it isn't so strange to know at my age... I'm going to keep thinking about it, but I think I really am... I relate to it so much. It explains so much. I do think this is really me. And I'm not exactly one to be dead set on things often. I'm not 100% sure, I never am, nothing ever is but... this is something only I can know, and understand. I've got to think about it and take the initiative of knowing and caring.
