Anyone else think frito lay promotions should not be in trap team because they make things much more harder to get things

Agreed 100% Frito Lay should never do promotions that people out of the US can't get.

I think Frito-Lay should still have promotions, but the awards still available outside. And other countries should have promotions from related companies.

Seems to me that Frito Lay has a 2 folded problem. First of all, the methods of obtaining the codes and stuff needs to be completely overhauled. I would be perfectly fine buying chips and entering a code, but they need to have the retailers sell the code bags and not wait until the rotation. I still see bags for the voting contest for the Trap Team even though the initial submission thing is over. Same with the Giants sidekicks; the bags only ended up getting to shelves in some stores a month after the promo ended...

Second of all, I'm all for them to open it up to other regions, perhaps through whatever the country's Frito Lay equivalent is.

I don't mind the promotion and I think it's a great way for them to sell chips and stuff, but I mean...the last few promotions were just an utter disaster. Which is baffling because the SSA Sidekicks and Figure/Stumpy giveaways were both pretty good.

I can't stand Frito-Lays messing with us every time. As if fattening up America with their unhealthy snack foods isn't enough.

I'm all funned out on Frito Lay promos for a while. The Fright Rider and Rattle Shake ones were about all I could stand for a while. Fright Rider didn't start to show up until less than a month left in the contest, and only in very small amounts. They didn't show up regularly until the contest was over, and as I remember only one store chain ever saw them for the majority of the contest. Not helpful when you don't have a store owned by that chain around here.

Rattle shake was... you know. So unless they are going to be like the sidekicks, where I can just buy a bag, pay my $2 and get something, I'm not quite interested these days. Maybe if they do better and actually ensure a proper release of their stupid bags, maybe I'll not take so much time to look down upon them.

Never saw the Fright Rider bags ever. Should have mailed on for the codes... darn it.

They never really give away anything important for me, so I don't mind that much.

I didn't say that, I just said that his "ship date" is around that time. Jade Fire Kraken has the exact same date on his page.

Well, you US guys are lucky to get QDRS at some point. Either here in the netherlands he never comes at all or we have to wait around this time...NEXT YEAR.

Frito Lay did nothing wrong. They're a US (and Canada) only company, they can't do anything about it.

"should"? Frito Lay has no interest in completing your personal collection. They are only trying to promote their business and get you to buy more trips. Being that they've done it 3 times now, I would guess they have research suggesting that it's working. Therefore, for their stated goal, they should continue. Sure, they are ticking off some die hard collectors, but they are surely gaining some customers, particular kids who are just excited at the very chance to get something few have.
