Hey all, I did a search on the forum and could not find a hunter page for Kentucky. If someone wants to narrow it down to a certain city or location, I would be fine with that. However, since Kentucky is not too entirely large, maybe there are some collectors in Kentucky who would work together to help complete collections or get those rare finds that others are looking for. I'll start us off.

Today in Lexington, KY I found two Ghost Roasters at Disc Replay. Disc Replay is actually on Nicholasville Rd., between Walmart and the mall. They have a bunch of other variants and figures as well! Let me add that most of their Skylanders at $6.99. They do not come with cards though.

I hope there are some people in Kentucky to hunt the Skylander market with me!

I go into Disc Replay all the time. They are a great source for used Skylanders. Were they selling Ghost Roasters for $6.99? I believe I've seen them in there, but they wanted more for them. They usually know which ones are rare and charge more for them. Although, I did see the Dark Edition Skylanders for $6.99. I wish I had the money, or I would have gotten them. I ended up letting my son use some of his birthday money to get Enchanted Star Strike, since he wanted her for his birthday and I hadn't seen them in the stores, anywhere, in a while. The Half-Price bookstore in that same shopping center had the Legendary 3-pack from SSA. They usually only charge $5 a piece, but they I wasn't sure if they had those marked up or not. They were locked up in a case and the sign says "$4.99 & up" or "starting at $4.99" or something like that.

The Ghost Roaster was more than $6.99, but I did not care to check the price. I should have! Yes, they did have the Dark Edition Skylanders as well. You can really find a lot of figures for cheap. Some items that are no brainers they mark up, but you can get steals there. Half Price books is actually where I completed most of my SSA collection. The one in Hamburg had a whole box full of Skylanders and were trying to get rid of them. Some of the common SSA characters were $2-3 a piece at one point. I haven't had much luck at the new Half Price Books in that same center. I am kicking myself for not looking there now. I would have jumped on the Legendary 3-pack. Is it still there?

I never could find much at either HPB until I saw the Legendaries. Of course, I had most of them when I started seeing them there. Most of them, though, seemed like common ones. Getting them for $2-$3 a piece, though is a good deal. I couldn't say whether or not the Fayette Place HPB still has the Legendaries. I believe that was the last time I went there, but I haven't been in a week or so. I'd love to get them, especially if they are only $5 a piece, but I just can't spend the money, right now.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Jade Fire Kraken has infiltrated eastern Kentucky. I found him in two Walmarts in Ashland, KY.
