I love this series and all, but OW.

... Half of those posts are just uninteresting one-word reponses like "interesting" or "cool" or "agreed" which you clearly only do to increase your post count. Seriously, your posts epitomise what I hate about the community and so many of your news posts are annoying and feature uninteresting info that takes up a ton of page space- something that dragged me away from there, as I hate the page space being taken up and I see it on so many topics. I've been wondering for a long time why they're allowed when they're so spammy and in addition to that break rules about posting images and videos.

Also, nice job with modding... Those posts may have been somewhat off-topic but at least they related to the idea of the topic. Nobody else has posted in the topic since and it will now just rot away. Perhaps instead of deleting those posts just reminding people would have been better. At least people could have had a bit of fun in that topic. Overall, you've done a good job in many aspects, but sometimes you're just way too stingy with moderation and there are a couple of stupid rules and the community is stifled because of it. That's how it seems to me, anyway... And my opinion on that has been unwavering for some time. The modded messages I'm thinking about aren't a huge issue, it's just really bugged me because it reminded me of all the reasons that I left and I felt like venting.

I don't know if I should leave again and at this point I only ever converse to one person on the site. Someone I consider a good friend, but I still find it extremely annoying to put up with some things there when I do visit and check around. It's because of how I see the community as so stifled, it just isn't fun any more and I don't see anyone even create any interesting new topics or hold any interesting conversations with one another in the sections about things I like. When I try making a post to hold a discussion hardly anyone responds, I've been trying to revive that one topic where we used to have close conversations for a while and there's usually just one post every two weeks there. I still have hope that the chat can evolve, but that's about it.
