I don't know if anyone else got screwed by Gamestop as badly as I have on this item, but after losing my package, they placed a new order for it while it was in stock on Thursday night and said everything was fine. Then on Friday morning I call to confirm, everything is fine. Two hours later I get an email saying my order has been cancelled. I call to see what happened and am told that the Order Verification department denied my order because I "already exceeded the maximum limit of 1 per household"

whaaaat?!?!?!?! I didn't get my order and now they've gone and cancelled my replacement order because their departments don't speak with each other and CS is a joke. Now all I get is "I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do since the item is out of stock" ...... how about un-cancel my order?! what did you guys do with the item you pulled aside on Thursday night when my order was placed?!
ugh..... worst part is that when it did come back in stock I can't even place a new order online because the system still thinks I already ordered one and CS is always closed. Gamestop really is a four letter word. I feel like I should raise hell on their PR sites until Corporate decides to fix their screw up.... otherwise that is the first and last time I'll ever shop at Gamestop (which I've avoided like the plague until now).
So your package got lost in transit or at the warehouse? Sounds like UPS/USPS/FEDEX screwed you over.
