I know this is a random question but... A while ago I noticed they released Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure in Japan. Maybe about a year or two ago. But... I've heard nothing about it since. Did they or are they ever releasing Giants in Japan?

Why does this matter, you ask? For starters, I am curious if any other characters got reposed in the Japanese version of Giants. For example, Warnado. How can Warnado NOT sell in Japan? He's based off an easily reccognizable Kaiju from Japanese media (Gamera) and to me that gives me the assumption that Warnado would probably do really well in Japan, especially over poor cloudy-butt. ...But whether the figure sold well or not, would the figures who got reposed change? Would Warnado's popularity earn him a S2 repose for the Japanese version of Giants? I know it's all random, but I'd like to know.

good question.......

i have only heard about the japan ssa but never seen any pictures. also why dont we hear anything from japan about skylanders. they love the pokemon characters and have a lot of crazy characters in games and anime, so you would think they love skylanders characters too. isnt there any japanese skylanders fan here?... or have some skylanders fan here imported the game from japan?

Checked Amazon and Yahoo Auction, it seems there is not any national edition (i.e. with packaging in japanese) apart SSA.

In fact, japanese version of the official website still opens with SSA:http://www.skylanders.com/jp/

155 characters are way too few to write anything relevant...

Not so much the game itself, just reposes.

If Japan got any different or unique toys , I am sure this forum and the hardcore collectors would kick up a fuss .

A Wii U version of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure will release in Japan on July 12.

Originally released in October 2011 in other markets on Wii and 3DS, the Wii U version will feature off-TV play and use the GamePad for puzzle mini games.

The Wii, 3DS, and PS3 versions will also be releasing in Japan alongside the Wii U version.

If you think Japan cares that much then I'm afraid I've got some bad news!
