For those of you who answered that the boxers where women, Correct!

A girl goes to a pet shop to bug a parrot that will repeat everything he hears. The store owner finds such a parrot, so she buys it. He says that if the parrot doesn't repeat everything he hears, she'll get her money back. A week after, the parrot has not repeated a single word, so she brings it back. Though, the pet store owner refuses to take it back, because the parrot will still repeat everything it hears.
How is this possible?
