So mad I missed my deadline to collect just by 25 mins so I didn't get the reward. what was the reward did anyone get it?

A smaller but better life sanctuary

I'm actually surprised there's not an option to buy it if you missed the quest.

I'm surprised, too. Is there anything in your Upgrade menu in the store?

It's a nice reward. If frees up a lot of space and generates almost 2x the gold.

I was wondering if they might have it in the store after the quest. It did have a price on it during the quest, but it wouldn't let you buy it unless you finished the quest. I assumed that after the quest was over, it would just be that price. I didn't pay close attention to how much it was, though.

I didn't think it actually showed a price, just that a quest needed to be completed. I also assumed the price would show up if the quest wasn't completed in time.

I remember seeing a price on it. I was thinking it was something like 20,000,000 or something like that, but I can't be sure. I remember it because I saw it and wondered if you were able to just pay the price and not have to finish the quest, so I clicked on the button.

I also missed the deadline (by just 1!) so I am a bit bummed about that. I'm guessing like with everything else it will be available for purchase later. I would assume we will be seeing smaller versions of the other sanctuaries as well. In the shop the Life Sanctum has a price of 25,000. I'd gladly pay 25,000,000 (similar to the new islands) for it instead of gems.

glad to know I wasn't the only one. I hope we can buy it at a later date. next time I get a timed quest I'm putting the app on my phone! lol

I am sure they will start having those options for all of the sanctuaries in time . To be honest its not that much of a gold difference but the extra space is great.

I thought it was 20 or 25k, but that seemed low, so I thought I had misread it.

25k was the payout for activating the sanctum, not the cost.

I don't remember an activation cost when I got mine.

But for those who didn't get it, is it there, now? It looks like the update just came down and one of the screens has a promo for a sale on gems and said it's enough to buy the new life sanctum and life toy link tower. So it looks like it should be available to purchase. Since I already have it , I can't tell.

yea I just logged in and had a screen saying you could buy the life sanctum for 1200 gems. ouch!

Wow. Not sure it's worth 1200 gems, but it makes sense that its very expensive since the quest to win one was fairly lengthy and (seeing as at least a few people didn't make it) not all all that easy. If you could just buy it for 25,000,000 in gold or something, that makes the quest not worth bothering to complete...

Bit the bullet and bought it with gems. A lesson to myself to keep up with the timed quests. I wish the Summoning Dais had a timer.

I think it depends where you are in the game. Replacing something that takes 5x5 with something that only takes 2x2 is huge for me at this point. If I hadn't won it in the quest, I would absolutely be spending the gems for it. But earlier, when I could barely afford the 350 for the next giants house and premium companions were too expensive for consideration, it would have seemed like a waste.

^This. For many of us who have been playing the game for a long time, 1200 gems is only a small dent in what we have and we can definitely use the space. It's definitely an item that's geared towards the higher level players. Just like the new islands that cost way more gold than the other, bigger islands (and can only be bought at higher levels, anyway). They may not seem worth it, but when you have lots of gold and gems that you have been saving up for a while, it's more of spending them to get the extra space or just to have it more than if it's worth it.
