I hope skystones will come back in Skylanders Trap Team, what do you guys think about that?

I realize this game is meant for kids, but even the boys thought it was a bit easy.

An upgraded version, sure. But the same weak version as Giants? We'll pass in our family.

Totally agree. Loved the concept but it definitely needs a difficulty setting.

I liked Skystones, but they need to make it "Quicker" - AKA Quick animations when you put down your stone and no silly announcer

I greatly enjoyed Skystones but it was really unnecessary and I'm not pleased it's returned.

They better find a way to make it forward compatible because I wasted coins getting good cards in Giants.

To be honestly, I despise Skystones. So boring. If that mini-game does return, the Skystones free passes should also be available for purchase.

I'm glad they're back because I actually missed them, they made a nice distraction, although they definitely could be improved on. Don't wanna have to watch the cutscenes of them being placed- if they were faster paced without the cutscenes stopping you but kept animations, that would be sweet. Also, the actual card collecting should be improved too. Collecting stones in Giants would have been really fun but there isn't really a complete list of them or anything like that in the game, and I'd like to see that added so that it felt more like it was like an actual trading card game. Like some kind of album for them, and they'd become an extra collectible.

I like the distraction, much like the mini games in Swap Force. Actually, I do like the mini games in TfB entries better. Just not sure Skystones is the way to go though. I hope they significantly change the gameplay.

It was a cool attraction I enjoyed collecting the skystones, but I do agree with some of the statements of making it faster and possibly harder. There could be more elemental focus on the game maps. But I am looking forward to Skylanders.

I'll be honest, I was a little disappointed that Skystones was out so I would welcome it back!

I would take anything IGN.com says with a grain of salt, they are basically the yahoo news of video game news (they just throw everything up as fact and if anything sticks they were the first to scoop it)

Skystones is definitely back, the devs said it to everyone at every single press group of the reveil events at least in munich. One didn't even have to ask, I don't know why it's not in the official fact sheet.

Skystones in Giants, is what made Giants worthwhile. I really did enjoy it.

It's just an easier and simplier version of the card game in final fantasy 8, which was quite average. I hope they made some improvements because it was quite boring in giant.
