So E3 is coming soon, it kind of goes without saying that there's going to be alot of new Smash Bros. news, I expect at least for the official title of the game to be announced, and one last huge character reveal, most likely someone like Pacman, I'm not sure yet, but it's probably going to be big. Just announce Ness and Captain Falcon to return and I'm completely happy with the roster. ;^.^

We already have the game's final title. Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS. This was confirmed at last year's E3.

We also know of a few Smash Bros things related to E3:

-There will be an invitational tournament in the Nokia Theater, that will also be streamed. 16 players and 2 commentators will be invited to participate in this tournament. Smash Wii U is the game that will be played.

-There will be kiosks with Smash Wii U at various Best Buy stores across North America, for the public to try the game out.

-On June 10th, there will be a Q+A session after E3 visiting hours between Sakurai and various journalists, about the new Smash titles.

-Smash will likely be playable at Nintendo's E3 booth.

-Nintendo is hosting a "Digital Event", replacing their E3 Nintendo Direct from last year. Will likely have Smash Bros in it.

-Nintendo is hosting a stream called "Nintendo Treehouse", where various game developers will show off their upcoming titles with unedited footage. Sakurai and Smash Bros will likely be here.

Actually, the intended purpose of that PotD is that they are showing off how most characters will now have their fronts face the camera even when facing to the left. In previous games, their backs would face the camera. The alternate colours are just a side effect of them having to show two of the same character. It's not even mentioned at all in the PotD caption. Though we knew it would be back.
