Nothing in this franchise is rare except for certain chase variants.

1st time ive seen someone finding one outside of tru and maybe gamestop.

Depends on your location.

for example Drobot Series 2 in the U.K. that is very rare as that never got released over here and at present neither has the following Quickdraw Rattle Shake,Jade Fire Kraken,Lightcore Bumble Blast not sure about the last one it may still come out or it maybe a preorder incentive for Skylanders Trap Team.I havent put Kickoff Countdown in this list as it is released on 30/5/14 in the U.K.

TRU had it when it was first release in my area. I found a few today at GameStop, first time other than TRU.
Looks like other stores are now getting him.

If you don't count Kickoff Countdown, then you can't count Jade Fire Kraken, as he hasn't been released, either. I know someone had him on the German eBay, but I don't consider someone selling one on eBay as an official release.
