I belive there was a panel of judges that were in charge of picking the winners.

there's always a panel type for those in charge to see which ones are the best out of the selection of stuff and then everyone gets to vote what they are doing now as to give these three a unique name chosen by fans. i bet the winner is the one that obviously for each will get a prize

"Bat Spin"? Seriously? *Grumbles about having entered a much more creative and punny name for that character* Guess they wanted two word names rather than one pun. Oh well. :/

After I voted it said I could vote again tomorrow, so I wonder if these are it or if it'll give a different group of names each day?

Flip Wreck's story is too simple, Bat Spin is too generic, but High Five is the only one that has a decent story.

Anyhow, High Five has the best story, I agree. Shame Flip Wreck's is just... Well. Yeah

Out of all the entries I cannot believe these were the best!!!!!!!!

In the end, I believe Activision will come up with its own fleshed-out story for these characters. I voted Flip Wreck -- I like that name the best.

I thought we were supposed to get 3 name options for each character, not just 3 top names. What happens to the losers, do they just get their developer picked names?

Yeah. And I think the developer picked names will be better than this options.

Take the #5 off the dragonfly's goggles and what does High Five have anything to do with the character. If it was a #4, I guess he would be High Four.

I'm voting for High-Five just so I can sue Activision for stealing a name of one of my OCs.

...Of coarse I'm kidding, but I'm still voting for him.

...Now that I think of it, "Bat Spin" is a completely fail name when you compare it to Frightengale. Heck, "Jack Of Clubs" sounds better than "Flip Wreck."

Why did one word names fall off so much? Since Swap Force and the two word names of swappable characters, it's all OMG2WORDNAMESICANTEVEN

That's my thought. High Five wins hands down compared to those.

There's no way they're not going to use the characters. It's definitely deciding which of them get a "fan" picked name.

Flip Wreck is the only good fan name of the lot (whose job was it to choose those names though? They need to be fired).

I don't get how "Flip Wreck" works at all. What? He "Flips" stuff or something? What's the "flip" part supposed to mean? And Bat Spin? That just plain doesn't work. High Five is the only one that even sounds remotely realistic to me.

Okay, now I get it, but it still just seems... iffy. If it's just "Flip" then it's hard to make the connection. Honestly, I think all three could have gotten better names over all.

Ugh... It's not like all Skylanders have impressively original names or anything. But the back stories are sad. I don't think anyone deserves $100,000 for any of these. Flip Wreck I'll be satisfied with by just the name, but High Five at least has a back story that was sort of thought out and works with Skylander lore. Stuck between a rock and a melancholy place.

I am disappointed my names didn't win, but I'm even more disappointed in what names did win. I don't know about anyone, but my names Sonicscream, Batramancer and Plank Tank were better than these. While I admit they're not perfect, anything would have worked better than these. I'd even let Frightengale and Buzzerker stay the same as those were not half bad.

Flip Wreck is actually the name I like the most, and it's the one I tried to vote for (for the sake of my sister) but I can't say the same about his story... Bat Spin is a terrible name, honestly, and I think I could have come up with a better name than that. High Five is in the middle for me, but I think his story is the best.

Maybe they're still working on it? My vote went through.
