Question time. If I put an egg into my box will it still hatch after X amount of steps? I don't have room for all of them on my team.

I dont think the egg's step count resets if u put it in the PC. If your breeding for a shiny though, hatching an egg should only take 3-5 minutes though

Carry with you a pokemon that has the Flame Body ability, that will reduce the amount of steps you need

Using Hatching Power and riding your bike helps a lot as well

As stated, the Name Rater in Camphrier (Old gentleman in the Pokemon Center) will let you change the name of a Pokemon.

However, you CANNOT change the name of a Pokemon you recieve in a trade. You must be the Original Trainer (OT in the Pokemon's summary) to be able to change a Pokemon's nickname.

It'd be soo worth it and id send it back with an item of ur choice as thanks, or a shiny

and for the nicknaming thing i really wish they would let us renickname mons with different IDs than ours cause that means if i trade up then i can never nickname them :/
