I beat the crap out of a bully [CLOSED]

It felt so good to give her what she was asking for...

So I was walking home from school and there were seven kids across the street, saying how they were gonna stab me and shoot me, and one of the girls I knew, who was ten, told me what they said. I responded with "Don't worry, I will kick her ass" and one of the girls was all like say that to my face. About thirty seconds later, I arrive at my house and see her standing in front of my yard, laughing and still going on about stabbing me and ****. I slammed the door, put down my backpack, and went up to her. She was on the train tracks, so I threw her down, kicked her three times, and punched her in the back of the head twice. Let's see if she screws with me anymore...and all of the others ran away before the girl I beat could run. Heheeh....she was not expecting that...After two years, she got what she was in for, and I am willing to pick off the other bullies f they keep it up.

I'm tempted to tell you that two wrongs don't make a right, but seeing as this bully has been doing this for two years, I can understand and agree she deserved it.

The girl was threatening to stab and shoot her, so I'd count that as self-defense. ;)

The cops were called, and from what I can tell (confirm this laianna?) they thought it was self-defense. And the call was originally for the potential that the bully assaulted her, but that was before we knew what was going on.



I guess, because they only checked me for wounds from the fight

You could have handled it without the violence...
However, I can't say much about it. If I endured something like that for two years, I probably would have lost my temper, too. But still, beating a bully up doesn't make you any better than the bullies themselves. The only reason why I see how violence would have been necessary is if they were physically attacking you, then it would have been self defense. But since they weren't, or at least you didn't say they were, you could have taken different steps to handle the situation.

I don't know what the definiton of self-defence is way over there, but here at least it doesn't include beating someone for speaking, whatever it is that they say.

I suppose if your friend doesn't care it's all the same, as she probably won't get into any trouble for doing what she did. Still, what she did was not right and definetly not worth boasting about.

Even though the bully didn't actually do anything but talk? No, I'm sorry, but whatever way you put it "nothing" is not really a good reason to pull out your fists for.

Now, had the bully actually done something, even approached your friend like she was going to attack her I could understand a response like that. But I mean, your friend just went to her on her own initiative and started swinging. If that's not an assault then I don't know what is.
Or are you seriously telling me her only concern was her own safety when your friend kicked a girl lying on the ground three times and then beat her in the head twice? From what she posted it seems to me like she just wanted to get back at the bully for mouthing off.

And why couldn't she just have gone inside and called the police? I'm sure if there was any legitimate threat to her safety the officers would've taken it very seriously.

I wish it wasn't so but the PD almost no matter where you are in the US would not take this situation seriously at all. And I'd know this by experience.
