I was thinking about how to store additional figures in my display if I do so decide to 'invest' in another entry, and it made me wonder about the crystals. They've shown the box, but it looks wood - and thus expensive and doubtful to be sold en masse.

Has their been any confirmation of the intent?

Nope, we don't know. That might just be a prop for the commercials.

I think it might be like a toys r us exclusive 'box of 20 crystals with exclusive kaos crystal' is how I'd see it

If they do make any form of box for them it will be plastic most likely.

They should make a limited edition of the game with that box as well as an artbook, some exclusive variant figures and 8 crystals.

I'd buy it.

Yeah, the Kaos crystal shouldn't be an exclusive with an expensive bundle (save the standard game itself). If I have to go the Best Buy or something to get it, that's fine. I understand how that business side works (companies pay Activision or give back some other benefit to lockdown exclusive sales rights in their territory). But I don't feel I should be forced to get anything larger then an adventure type size bundle to get any individual piece.

Others may not see it that way, but that's where I stand.

I hope they do--it actually looks nice. It would look better than any plastic monstrosity PowerA would dream up.

It would be an interesting idea. Disney Infinity has a Target exclusive album which has all Series 2 Power Discs so Skylanders could compete in that sense with an all in one box.

I second this, I would pre-order that immediately. It would be very cool to have it be a part of a deluxe/collectors edition of the game (like the dark edition of swap force from Gamestop).

Isn't there a "employee only" swap force artbook that was sold on ebay? I remember thinking that would be awesome to have.

Well, if some of us wish to collect as many crystals, then maybe there should be a collection box for them.

I think there will be a box, prob made of plastic or something. I doubt it would be made of wood. Seeing all the other skylander stuff they try to sell us, i wouldn't put it past at least tru getting it.

Does anyone know or have a good guess at the dimensions of the box? And does anyone have a good top view image of the box? I do some woodworking and was thinking about trying to make a box to put the traps in that looks like the one they have in the trailer, but I don't have the dimensions and can not guess that accurately from the trailer. Plus the only good picture is the one from the facebook skylanders page and it's at an angle.
