I want everyone to break up this whole fight between HCI and yourselves. You are all acting like children treating this like a BIG THING. This is not how you solve problems.

You work together to solve things peacefully, you DO NOT harrass back. Harassment is NOT a solution to ANYTHING. NOR IS IT GOOD TO DO.

And HCI, I am debating whether to gnorc you or not. You have been causing havoc and poking bears too much. My decision will be made after I finish my English project.

2. He's acts like a dick, and then whines like a ***** when people don't take him well.

5. He acts like an arrogant ass.
6. He has a fetish for Canada, and makes it very obvious.

Eh. I learn to not care *shrug*
I honestly don't have a huge problem with any users, just some urk me in small details. I try to be friendly with everyone, ok, actually that's a lie, but yeah. I don't really try to start things with other people, usually backing out of arguments if I know it will turn into something else or just give it a "whatever" and move on
HCI can be annoying at times, but honestly, his topics just blend into the mass of nonsense topics in S&N. They don't really stand out, so his trolling doesn't affect me. I see where some people are coming from, as I can see how it could get on people's last nerve, but really he should just be ignored. He's kinda like ClayFace, the only reason they are what they are is because of the reactions of other users. They either publicly show hatred towards them, or troll back with "omg HCI/ClayFace if god, we must do as they say and create fan clubs" and **** like that.

I quoted your post, but this is actually a comment aimed towards a small bunch of people, not just you.

The fact that you don't get a lot of MM's absolutely says a lot about the community, and I think it especially says a lot about the moderators for whom it is left to decide which posts contradic rules and which do not. This is a problem that can be fixed though, so I'm not holding anything against our mods here in SaN.

I also agree with you on the fact that it's utterly stupid for anyone to ever respond to your trolling seriously. All the "Pfft, you're not really even trolling, you didn't troll me" -kinda replies are also quite counterproductive in getting through to you.
HCI is trolling, and it's completely irrelevant whether he is succesful or not. The fact is that it's against the rules and he should face reprecussions for doing it. Also, posts containing trolling should obviously be deleted, lest they just encourage this kind of ill-adviced behavior if they're simply left as they are.

In any other forums I've visited a troll like HCI (harmless though he may be) would simply be banned and be done with it, no multiple chances at redemption should be given if a person blatantly breaks the rules this way while also acknowledging it. If it was for me to decide he'd be long gone.

I'm sorry to bruteforce my way into this discussion like this, but asking him isn't going to change the way he acts. We've seen it before, there is no "let's all be happy"-solution.

In accordance with the forum rules which he has broken, I suggest you gnorc him. He's had his warnings and he's already been gnorced for the same reason before. If he doesn't change his behavior it's about time he gets a reminder.
