Here is a brain-teaser for you all. If HIR is considered here, by many users, overrated therefore in this certain process gaining lot of negative response from dS community. Does this trend of negative feedback make him eventually underrated?

By the way, I don't consider here any user to be over/underrated.

That's usually how the cycle tends to work. I think CAV made an identical argument with (correct me if I'm wrong) the Call of Duty franchise.

I don't even understand why people think HIR is overrated (if they were even serious in the first place). Has he done something wrong?

That is the same thing I have wondered. HIR is actually doing good job as a Hunter here and is a user with good insight to various subject and contributes to these forums in a manner that should be respected. He is a good guy; not over or underrated. smilie

Some are misunderstanding the word "Overrated".
I'm guessing people are reading the topic as "Users that get too much attention" or something like that. Overrated is rating someone or something higher than what it/he/she actually is. So basically, a lot said that Notes doesn't actually do as good of a job as people say, which is not true.

But that would be dumb. It only indicates that he is well know of, which is obvious since he is a moderator.
If people think he is overrated because some users frequently aknowledge his existence they're simply annoyed/jealous of the attention he gets (attention he doesn't ask for, I should point out).

I swear, attention is like some sort of high-value currency in darkSpyro. The more you get the "bigger" you are.
One or two years ago my name was all over the off-topic boards all the time. I didn't ask for it, but I found that for some reason some users took it upon themselves to start to resent me because of that.

Hmm, I think I remember seeing some of those posts. I've never really understood why certain users get more attention. I must research this and derive the formula for attention! For science!

Well, I did notice a little bias in your moderation a couple of months back, but I haven't seen any lately. I don't think you're under- or overrated though.
