Angry men tend to be physically intimidating, and use deep voices and loud raging.
While angry women have this way of making everything they say feel so cold and so powerful.
Which do you think is worse?

Women. I may be frightened by men by their muscle, deep voice, etc. but when it comes to women, especially when they're yelling, I get frightened to the bone.

It depends what kind of person you'd be dealing with, both men and women can be very intimidating.

This is an interesting question, because it can be viewed objectively. Women and men get angry in different ways.
I'm generally more afraid of angry guys, though there can be exeptions, of course. Why? This is all from my own experience, and I can't speak for everybody, but here's why I think so: - Women's anger tends to be long lasting (hours, days, weeks at most) and more psychologically stressful. - Depending on her mood, a woman could get angry from the most diminutive of things. They then build up their anger slowly and let it go slowly, but they don't really ever "rage". It's more passive and subtle than that. In other words, women's treshold for getting angry is low, but so is their level of anger. - They might insult you, resent you for a couple of days, give you the "silent treatment", bawl their eyes out and try to quilt trip you etc. At their worst they might break things, but they rarely get physical or want to hurt others. - Men's anger tends to be short (minutes, hours, days at most) and explosive/physical. - It normally takes a lot to make a guy really angry, they look over/ignore small things. Their anger builds up fast, they'll rage hard and just as quickly get over it once they've let out some steam. So with men the threshold for getting angry is high, but their anger also "burns on high", so to speak. - Men that are angry usually want to direct their anger in physical activity. They might flail around, tear down/smash things like they only had 30 seconds to live. It doesn't last for long, but it might potentially cause a lot of damage. There's also an interesting phenomenon that I've noticed in men's anger. If a guy doesn't have much social influence, or he is threatened/imposed by the people around him, he won't show his anger openly. He'll stuff it and let it out slowly much like women normally do. It's probably a subconscious self-defence tactic to prevent little guys from getting mauled by stronger men whenever they throw a fit. We're just animals, after all. |

My experience is that women will nag me for ages about something in a not-so-subtle fashion from the get go. Going on loud rants that I often don't care to keep up with because the issues are small. They'll express the problem as soon as they have the problem, unless they are someone with anxiety problems.
Men, on the other hand, will subtley try to get under my skin, even trying to pass off serious accusations or bones they have with me as jokes. But will quickly start getting overly emotional about it in an angry way or even a physical way soon after. They may hold in the problem for a while, even bringing up things when they are no longer relevant at all. Both are a pain to deal with.
