New companion is Willowbark. Costs 200 gems, and doubles the experience bonus for decorations.

This will come in handy trying to reach level 42, so I can buy the Troll Island.

Between Willowbark and Fiznik, that's 4X the XP from buildings - that should help get to level 42. Of course, that probably just means it will only take a week. I can just imagine how long it will take for 45! On the bright side, it will ensure that we've got things to do for the next month or two, and they do seem to be rolling out the updates.

Not exactly, it doubles the bonus of the decorations. So something that would add a 5% bonus would add a 10% bonus instead.

Right - where's my mind today? Maybe I'll find it on troll island?!

I finally reorganized one of my islands to maximize bonuses for a few buildings and managed a couple 278% with willow bark.

Is that just a guess at the name of the new island? I don't think I've gotten any notifications that give the island a name yet. Makes sense though.

If you tap on it it that is what it is called.(edited to say you can only do that if you have unlocked sheep island. I just checked my son's game)

It is great having the new stuff.

Our newer players miss the daily offers though.

When i get to that stage, I'll check if it is unlocking sheep island or merely reaching level 41 that lets you see the name. At this slow crawl, maybe I need to put some decorations back in...

Being level 41 is not enough. I hit that this morning. Tomorrow morning when sheep island opens up I will report again.

I can now confirm that unlocking Sheep Island is what makes it possible to click on Troll Island and see its requirements.

I know I need to do some optimizing. I have one entire island filled with early level houses. I've always hated to get rid of them, as I like seeing where I started, but it's really slow going, now. It's part of the reason why I thought about throwing in for the B&B in my well, last month, but I kept forgetting to do it. I'm completely out of room. I saw my first totem in probably a couple of months after I finally cleared some trolls/sheep to fulfill some Skylander quests. I definitely don't have room to add decorations or houses. Although replacing some of my decorations for better ones may be a good idea. But they're mostly gem decorations. The sheep topiaries might work, but then my OCD would go crazy if I didn't collect from them all, and it's such a hassle, especially if they're spread out everywhere to get better bonuses.

The main thing with the town hall is that it has 20 spaces along its circumference but it collects every 48 hours. I haven't done the math yet but I think in the same amount of space and collecting twice per day that the stages output better.
