What do you think? Seems legit?

If Cynder was better developed as a character, and less annoying, then it could be very interesting. But the downer to all of this is that it will never happen.

Something I didn't mention is that Flashwing would be involved just for the sake of developing Cynder's character. I know she's a Skylanders character, but hey, something's gotta happen, doesn't it?

You don't need another character just to develop Cynder's personality, I think you're missing the point a little bit. Her personality in DOTD was terrible.

Well, there's no fireballs about Cynder having a terrible personality in DotD, but I figured we can establish it more if we make a sequel to Spyro: Shadow Legacy and bring the ending of DotD into the equation. The thing is, Cynder would need to get more involved with the PS1 Spyro, and since she doesn't know him as well as she knows TLoS Spyro, it's gonna call for a LOT of humor and so many situations that are just wrong.

Why do we even have to continue from where Shadow Legacy left off anyway? Why not just start a fresh storyline, without having the need to combine the worlds of TLOS and the original together, and the characters. You could just continue from the Year of the Dragon, or Enter the Dragonfly, and pretend that A Hero's Tail/Shadow Legacy never really happened. Heck, developers do it all the time. lol

Yeah, the thing is, developers would have to figure out how to retain that Spyro feel without making it too nostalgic to be epic. I found that tying the ending of DotD with the original series would make an epic sequel to Shadow Legacy.

Oh, and by the way, I don't consider the two series to have two different worlds; I consider the two series to take place in the same world, but in different parts of time. Thus, I've made the prologue to a fanfic.

Okay? I'm a little confused, did you type up that fanfic then? 'Cos if you did, it's pretty interesting, you've got a good imagination, but some of the words I couldn't understand, lol.

I personally don't think that it would be right myself, I'd just leave LoS out of it completely.

I mean, my idea may not be the best one out there, but I think that it's better than most of the others I've seen. I believe this one has the most potential for a video game adaption, because I'm actually tying so many elements of many of the Spyro games that DON'T happen to do with Skylanders, and yet I'm not throwing out any Spyro other than the Skylanders one!

Admitidly, I did enjoy reading your idea, at one point I even felt a little distressed for Spyro, and I was actually reading it faster to see if he gets out of trouble, and it seems like it was a dream all along, so thanks for that.

I think that if you're trying to write a story for Spyro, I don't think that their should be any dark natures about it, I just think it doesn't suit it. In the classic series there were levels of a dark atmosphere, but yet again, they were kind of whacky more than anything, and nothing really terrifying, except for Dark Passage where the enemies grow bigger in the dark.

I also think that Hunter morphing is a little bit over the top, it may get a little bit confusing later on.

As for Cynder, Skylanders has actually done a lot to improve her personality with less than LoS used. A few bits of dialogue and a quick backstory make her a very fun character who can live up to the potential she showed in LoS but never lived up to.

I can tell without playing the game. It's funny, though, you actually give good references for coming up with new character traits. I mean, the way I look at you, when I take out your fan speculation about your opinions on the games and keep the opinions on "It's never gonna happen," I think that'll be good for EMBER'S personality.

That's okay, I've already made another topic that's in the Fan Fiction section. Right now, there's only the prologue and the first chapter. I've made two other chapters, but if I posted them, the story wouldn't make sense; they are far away from the beginning.
