Phineas and Ferb playsets were given out at Toy Fair.

They're Toy Box packs, not playsets.

Anyone else experience some confusion at EB Games (Canada) with the Phineas and Ferb pack? Although the in-store poster advertises two weeks of exclusivity starting yesterday, the actual date given by EB in the system is in April, the 'regular' street date for everyone. First EB I went to would let me pre-order the pack but only for the April release. Second was the same, third location finally found a way to override the date and let me purchase.

Anyone know if Target will get another exclusive that bundles all the power discs together with an album? I saw some Series 3 packs at Toys R' Us, but I'm dreading the blind buying again. And besides I bought the Phineas and Ferb pack, so I already have two of the series 3 set.

so... now we can complete our collections once and for all!

Marvel Characters confirmed for Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition (sounds like an update/patch, or an updated version that will be released as a standalone copy)

It's Square Enix with cooperation from Disney Interactive,so you see both logos when starting up a KH game.

I know I saw from an interview, Nomura would like to do Marvel or Star Wars stuff, but that it might not happen due to copywright stuff. I truly pray it doesn't.

I'm glad it's more of an update to the game than a separate game sequel. Hopefully, Stitch gets a toy, I'd get him. The rest I'd probably forget about.

I really want to get this game, but I don't wanna spend all of the money. If it was just a game with no toys, I'd buy it, but I've learned my lesson with Skylanders and I'm not going down that path again. I just love all of the Disney characters and universes! And now they're adding superheroes! Why must they make it so hard...

Am I the only one aside from Seiki who's not interested in them adding Marvel characters? I don't dislike it or anything(I actually like The Avengers, although just really casually), it just doesn't excite me, at all.

The first game had so many problems. A lot of the characters played too similarly in the first game and I'm coming back to the toy box and I'm still really disappointed in some of the limits of it and I don't enjoy the playsets that much and I still think that the toys are implemented horribly- frankly, I'd be way more hyped to hear that they were planning to improve the gameplay and make the toys more relevant to gameplay (as opposed to them being a tossed on cash-grab as they are now) than to hear that they're adding Marvel characters in. If I heard that they were planning to improve the gameplay a lot/in multiple ways, it would actually make me really interested, compared to this announcement anyway. I think Infinity has huge potential but some frustrating issues.

If Marvel characters will be their "wow" feature for the next game(assuming that's what Infinity 2.0 is supposed to be), it doesn't get me excited at all, because I just don't have much attatchment to Marvel characters. I think the only franchise I love so much that it would make me buy a sequel would be Wreck-It Ralph, if they decided to make a Play Set for that in the future or something. And that franchise is reaaaally special to me.

I just hope that they aren't planning to simply ride the money wave for sequels, tossing in popular franchises, without focusing on improving upon the actual gameplay. I'm sure that they will anyway and they're just gonna show it off later- because there's still tons of time to do that- but still. I'm just saying what I think of the announcement. Anyway, I'm not alone, am I?

i'd only buy the game loose from ebay (game/base ONLY) and marvel guys YOU want.

I feel the same about Star Wars being added as I do about Marvel. I do like Marvel & Star Wars, I truly do, I'm just not a fan of them being in a Disney game.

As for who I want: Though, I've said it before, Mulan, Peter Pan, and Play Sets for them.

Who I expect them to add? Captain America, Iron Man, maybe Hulk, Darth Vader, Han Solo, and possibly a couple characters from Planes and if we're lucky, Tinker Bell & Vidia from the Tinker Bell franchise as Toy Box only characters. Maybe Kermit & Miss Piggy too. Basicly, I expect them to add everything I don't want added.

i can expect spider man as a stand alone guy with no playset.

i'd totally like kermit. him and wander (from wander over yander) could have some awesome banjo attacks, and wander could throw his hat.

i can see the avengers, ultron, loki, galactus, and the guardians of the galaxy happening.

Aside from marvel, I'd love to see Isabella, Buford, Baljeet, Candace, and Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb.

But they won't rerelease the same figure. They also can't repose them like in skylanders. I'm thinking they use King Candy and Fix It Felix, Olaf and Kristoff, and Baljeet and Buford (or Ferb) for Play Sets of those franchises.

These seem much more plausible. I really don't see them making figures for Buford or Baljeet. Ferb is obvious, though for a second I'd think Isabella or Dr. Doofenshmirtz. King Candy is a bit of stretch but is possible as he is ultimatly the main villain in the movie, however Sgt. Calhoon seems more likely.
