I don't see why it would be so bad. I wouldn't do it, but I mean, Victoria's Secret posters are nearly there, and woman boobs are just the same as man boobs, only inflated. But as y'all have already said, they can be seen as sex objects, so I feel like women would be more vulnerable than usual.
Anyway, the only time I ever really see a guy walking around topless is at the beach or places like that. There are topless beaches out there. If you want to see public boobs that badly, go to one of those places.
I think even if we stopped sexualizing breasts (which at this point probably won't happen........ever), the social stigma around them and covering up will still exist merely because of tradition.

There is a trans girl, she has the physical appearance of a male but she is a female. Would there be a difference if she went around topless? She is female after all.
Then what about a trans boy. Since boys have all the right to go topless, shouldn't he be allowed to go topless?
And sex isn't mattering in this case because you are on the topic of men and women and the social society as a whole around them.
I think it's best to imagine that people have a right to themselves. They can do what they want with their bodies and it really doesn't matter what it is as long as it doesn't harm anyone in the process.

Yea it would be great if women could walk around in public topless, but it ain't gonna happen. I think it's sad we can't go topless in public, but you could always just walk around in your own home topless or wearing nothing at all. Us girls must rebel...of course we'll have to do it in our own homes. ^.^

you go topless according to your biological sex obviously. Unless you've actually had a sex change. If you go topless when you're female physically but say to the cops "oh but i'm a boy!!!!" they won't take that as a valid answer and still do you one.

In that case they would likely judge by biological sex, though I wonder why either of the two cases would want to go around topless anyway.
They have a right to themselves but when doing this in public they can be charged for indecent exposure. There's not much you can do about that.

Once again, it's a social stigma and chances are that the idea of covering up had more to do with protecting them so you can feed a child than it was to prevent sexual desire. Not every society originally idolized breasts, and there are some out there that still don't.
Sexual desire came later on and it wasn't where it started nor is it probably why it still exists.
