I saw a video called Death Battle and they had Tails as the winner, I was shocked, because Robots are killed by electricity and LUIGI WAS TRAINED BY A THUNDER GOD, AKA MARIO THOR

So who would win in your opinion?

Well, tails is like a hamster or a rat or something and Luigi is a human, so I think he'd win

WUIGI WOULD KILL TAILS. WIUGI COULD DESTROY THE WORLD WITH A FREAKING FLOWER.

I find that Tails would win. As long as he has rings, he's invincible. Unless they fight in water with no air bubbles near.

If Sonic is better then Mario then Tails is better then Luigi.

Tails would win, he'd just pick luigi up and fly him over a cliff.

Well Tails built various airplanes, has a rather large and destructive mech, can fly, use dummy ring bombs, can transform into Super Tails and most likely keeps a large wrench with him.

Luigi has a vacuum, the negative zone, super high jumping capabilities, fire luigi, ice luigi, every luigi, he can sort of fly (?) or well stay in the air for like 5 seconds and he can run pretty fast.

It honestly depends.

Note: I'm going with no vehicles on this one.

Tails can simply fly out of Luigi's reach and drop things or attack without Luigi being able to hit him. The rings idea is void because I'm thinking 3D Luigi, like Galaxy and 64, where coins = life. Luigi's poltergust might be able to bring Tails to the ground, thus rending him defenseless to most of Luigi's attacks. Luigi's powers like Invisibility, Luma spin, fire flower, ice flower, spring, starman, propeller cap, cat suit, etc. give him a higher advantage over Tails.

I think the battle would be long and drawn out, but Luigi would pull through in the end.

You are forgetting quite alot....

The Thunderhand technique from Superstar saga, also being able to shock an enemy from behind making him or her run away fast
The Luigi Cyclone from Smash bros
The Luigi Missile from Smash Bros
A Car (Mario Kart)
Has made a mech of his own (Brobot FTW)
Can Turn INVISIBLE, from Super Mario 64 DS
Can hit someone on head with a hammer so hard it shrinks them, from all the Mario and Luigi RPG's
Has defeated Dimentio, a magic warping hell clown
Kicks Ass at possibly every sport
Has a PhD, therefore can tell how much damage he has done to an enemy

Tails is an inventor. The end.

They pretty much explain it in the death battle video - Tails has way more mobility. Having mobility makes a battlefield much easier to dominate.

Considering how the Death Battle was done with the point of "Tails is over-reliant on Sonic" as a weakness, which is false at this point in the Sonic series (Tails is INCREDIBLY independent in Lost World, and if anything, Sonic's screw-ups in that game would have had devastating consequences for him and the world if Tails wasn't there to step in), and he STILL won, it's a testament to how powerful he really is.

Don't get me wrong, I love Luigi just as much as Tails, but combat is not his specialty. Even in Smash Bros, his moveset is designed to look as clumsy as possible, as if he doesn't have a clue what he's doing.

I maintain that comparing the Marioverse to the Sonicverse is impossible, even for DEATH BATTLE (although they've done it twice). The Sonicverse gives all its characters ridiculous amounts of abilities through the games, shows, and the comics. By contrast, the Marioverse is, well, extraordinarily disjointed thanks to that whole "We don't need a big story to make a good game," philosophy. And with the comparisons of Sonic to DragonBall Z, I'm just finding myself looking at a bunch of ridiculously overpowered forest creatures. The Shadow vs. Vegeta DEATH BATTLE was a far better and more exciting match-up than the Mario/Sonic and Tails/Luigi ones.

Of course, they could have let Dreamy Luigi and the Luiginoids participate, for giggles. ;>.>

I always found Shadow to be like that green dude in DBZ. I would love to see a fight between them two.

I pretty much agree with this, I'd rather see Sonic characters against non-Mario characters. Though Sonic versus Mario was inevitable.

Wily VS Eggman was the best Sonic related Death Battle by far.
