I stopped out at my local TRU in Jackson, MI to see if they had the spring figures out yet (no luck). While I was there I saw they now have the exclusive metallic Gill Grunt for sale on the shelves. I did check and he will scan for the 3 for $20.00 deal. So for anyone who might've missed out, didn't get a free one like they were supposed to or just want a better package that's not beat up from being mailed in an envelope now might be a good time to check your local TRU.

I kind of figured these would show up at stores eventually. Probably whatever was left from the promotion went out to the stores after they were certain they had completed orders to a degree.

How many thou? It could just be a return from the online orders. I know i returned 2 of mine to the store once i got the free ones.

Me thinks it was a return. I bought one online, then got my coupon for a free one later.

Just wanted to chime in on this one. Speaking as a TRU employee, we got four or five cases of Metallic GG in at my store today. Very strange.

Ok then so it is a real release. My guess is they had a deal on these ahead of time and just released some for the promo and now the rest OR they over estimated the promo and now are trying to rid of them. I'm thinking more near 1 but who knows.

Just left TRU in greenwood indiana several metallic green grunts on the shelf for those in my area

Sounds like they have started sending out the leftovers to the stores. That groaning sound is from those that picked it up at scalper rates last year as the value starts to dip even further. It's always a risk to speculate, either you wait and miss out as the prices keep rising, or you bite early and the company decides to ship it out in large numbers and the value disappears.

Ha. Already got mine not even trying. I thought the only way you could get them was that $100 promo so I never tried but it popped up in the list yeah I got him about a month ago or so. I'm glad he's becoming more available. He looks so cool.

That isn't as bad as people who paid $100's of dollars on eBay. I feel bad for those folks.

Saw these in two diff tru today each had a dozen or so

Struck out at the Greenwood & Castleton stores in Indy. The East Washington store had about 5 or 6 though as of this evening.

When I was a TRU Greenwood yesterday there was at least 20 there. Sold out quickly!

I just checked my TRU in Florida. They didn't have any in, but the shelves were pretty full. I'll check back in after a day or two to see if they've put them out. There's one guy that works there that knows his Skylander stuff, but I didn't see him when I went in there this time. Next time I see him I'll ask if he's gotten any in.

Yep. Was at TRU looking for the Springtimers and saw him on the shelf. Already had him, but since the had STTH and punkshock, went ahead and picked him to use the 3 for $20 deal they got going on right now. Kids were excited to be able to unbox him.

Went to my local TRU today and they had two pegs full of these. They all looked better than the two I received in the mail with smashed packaging.

They also had all of the newest wave and the 3 springtime ones.

Toys'R'us in Southcenter, WA had racks of these.

Don't forget to add, these are stocked in the GIANTS section. Most of us have moved on from shopping those pegs.....and only browse swapforce items.

Has anyone seen these appear in Florida? I'd like one, but not badly enough to pay the extra shipping to just order it online. My store hasn't gotten any in, but they haven't restocked the Giants section in ages. It's made up entirely of nothing but LC Hexes and Ninjinis, with one or two L-Stealth Elves mixed in.
