Yeah, I just cancelled mine after a successful visit to Target. I wasn't expecting them to have any in stock, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they still had about 5 left on the pegs. It seems that Skylander hunting here is less competitive than where I used to live.

The Gainesville, FL Target still had 8 NFB figures on the shelf this afternoon around 4:30pm. 7 NFB are left since I decided to snag one after finding a decent paint job on a couple of them. I was totally expecting not to find them since I didn't make it by Target until today.

Just got my updated delivery date on the figure, 5/2/2014.

Thinking the same thing. I was thinking about ordering and not getting up early (or watching my wife roll her eyes), but figured there would be no issue getting him. The employee said they didn't have it, but fortunately another employee saw it in the sale paper and they went and pulled the case. Worried for a second because when I pulled it up on my phone it said "Sold out online". Turns out, I guess I'm glad I went with the store pick up.

Turns out, he doesn't seem very uncommon in the stores, so if you ordered, it might be a good idea to try and find it locally instead. If what is rumored to have happened did happen (they sent them all to stores), then that May date is likely due to them having to place a new order with Activision and since they are the only store that has them, they probably don't have them lying around and the wait is due to a new batch being made. What that means is that assuming it all turns out, they will have plenty more to get in May. Short term though, hit up those Targets - they are out there.

You guys may want to call the store and ask them to review the surround areas. This is how i found mine as the store i called had none yet the store i went to two days earlier had 32. So you never know.

Yeah, I did too. Just wanted a couple of extras. But man, they blew this (again).

All the stores in my area ran out the first day. My store only had 2 left by 9am on release day out of the 2 case packs we got.

You should check your stores as the one target by me was out of stock for NFB but today had a fresh batch of them as in another 20. So while in store I called up target's website customer service and canceled my order. I should have bought the four i needed on the first day and not bothered with any pre ordering. iwas trying to be nice in the fact of just in case i could not get that many on a single run but had to go through hoops with the website. It's a shame that they did drop the ball on it for so many people.

They were a lot better with jade flashwing last year and now they screwed up NFB. I'm half hoping on them getting in jade fire kraken but I'm going for it at store and not pre ordering it this time. No reason to.

I got one at the store but his paint job could be a LOT better. I don't know if I want to keep my pre-order, I mean I do want another one for my nephew but MAY? Report back if you get free shipping because that's the only thing that will convince me.

from the looks of it your pre order is backordered to may. You could always keep the one you bought sealed and search around for more NFBs and find a better one. I find it best to cancel if you do find one. Unless you want to wait that long for it.

I ended up getting one in store, lucky thing too because I doubt any of the "pre-orders" will actually end up with one. The nice thing was while I was at the store I was telling the manager about what was going on and he said that was unacceptable for them to make that many mistakes in a simple pre-order, so he ended up comping me another 5 dollar gift card as well as working the price match so that I got the buy one get one 50% off for it with a Gnarly Tree Rex I paid 8 for the tree rex then 50% off the nitro so it was 8 and then with the 2 gift cards I paid $6 for both the figures. Well worth the drive it took me to get them.

Moral of the story, be nice to the people and they will hook you up as best they can. What goes around came around in this instance.

Of course the day after I cancel my order they actually start sending them out...

Oh well, at least I got a NFB one way or another, and I actually saved a few bucks on shipping.

The Target ad for 4/6 shows Nitro Freeze Blade and Nitro Magna Charge. So it's possible that they will have more for that week's ad as well as the single packs of NMN. They also had a picture of Springtime Trigger Happy (which I also saw in the Walmart ad for that week) so it seems like Activision is making a push for that week and probably why so many had a release date or lockout date for 4/6.

The nitro magna charge single pack is in stock on target's website.

It's about time.


EDIT: I went to Target today, and asked about Nitro Magna Charge.


Turns out, he has a street date in the system for tomorrow! They sold me one with no issues.

Update: Nitro Freeze Blade has shipped for me.

I was able to buy the Nitro Magna Charge single pack today too. The Target in Ansonia, CT had about 6 on the shelf, which was shocking since this store never gets anything early. They also had both flavors of Freeze Blade, Trap Shadow, and the Dune Bug wave cores.
