So like I've saved up over 1000 gems already to get him, but there's no way I'm going to be able to save up enough by the 24th. I might just buy gems for once but I still doubt that...

Any chances he'll go half off before then, or something? 'Cause I've been trying really hard to save up for him. :/

Do personal offers still work after the latest updates? I still haven't done the update as I just haven't been in a hurry, so I wasn't sure if the daily personal offers were still happening or not. That would be the only chance to get him at 50%, I would think.

I am sure Diggs will be back sooner or later . They are just tickling you to buy him now .

I'm surprised this hasn't received more attention. Especially since it's not just Diggs but Ermit as well, a combo that really boosts gem income. The message is vague, and sure seems like an attempt to boost gem sales. Leaving...for the season, for vacation, for good? Who knows?

Several people have mentioned it. Most of us who are veteran players aren't really surprised by it. Ermit has always came and gone. I was pretty sure Diggs was always expected to be a limited time companion. It's just that since there were no updates for over 2 months, we actually got to keep those companions longer than, I'm sure, was planned. As others have said, by taking them away, it should only mean that they will continue to update the game and offer special times when they will bring them back. It's a bummer for those who haven't got him, yet, but we're pretty sure he will return.

Diggs will no doubt return, but it's far less certain that the players will. I've seen nothing to convince me it's worth the effort of even loading the game. I mean, exactly what on earth were we collecting all those tens of thousands of kudos for? And thousands of wishstones that there's no point throwing into a dead wishing well. It's almost APRIL Activision. You've had your four month holiday. Either develop the game properly, or euthanise it.

I'll admit that I don't play much at all, anymore. I'm lucky to check the game once or twice a day when I used to constantly play it. In fact, I haven't even bothered to do the app store update. But just in these forums, it seems like they may have picked up quite a few new players (especially with the Android release). It's a bit sad that these new players aren't playing in the hey day of the game, but they're still getting a lot out of it. I'm hoping that the game gets some major stuff on the way. It's good that there are updates here and there, but just adding a new Skylander here and there is nothing really. The removal of Diggs, though, makes me think that there will be special weekends again. So maybe there will be some more variety to the game, later, when it comes to special days and such...not just random daily personal offers and random Super Tuesdays.
