I can see there being other events for this. Darkrai won from a poll, I can see Yveltal being distributed on X, and Xerneas on Y, then Diancie on both.

Catch rate difference is 45 and 3, you can see why.

Yeah, I found it ridiculously easy to catch Yveltal as well. It is SO much easier than from Pokémon Diamond to catch legendaries.

Well it took 250 eggs before I gave up.
Then I completed the Dex and caught one in the wild.
It all works out.
