I never got one for the dolphin.

I had one for the undead girl, but ran into errors repeatedly when I tried to submit, and was disappointed to find that the submission deadline was 12 noon today, rather than midnight. My name for her was "Bitin' Gale". Like "nightingale", but, well, you know.

The one entry I did get in, I really liked, which was for the fly guy. I submitted "Flydo" for him, since he appeared to have both fly- and dog-like features. I didn't acknowledge the number five on his head in the name, but I did mention in the "story" that he participated in the Skylands' "Fliditarod" competition.

What do you think? What did you submit, if anything?

Posted it on this board earlier, but I chose Throttle Nose for the dolphin. It's also my hedge if they really do go for a racing game

I posted Splash. Or SpLash. Figured with the sword slash worked. I didn't know we had to make up a story so I put something about him being from the Isle of purpose (porpoise) patrolling the waters bc he looked like he had boat parts/pirate looking stuff. I made the story sound better but this the jist of what I came up with.

Btw, throttle nose is a good one I could see that.

I named the Water one "Dolphender" a combination of Dolphin and Defender, obviously. I thought it seemed fitting since he had the shield.

The Undead I named "Batrice" like the name Patrice, but with bats. lol. No particular reason, I just liked the sound of it.

I couldn't think of one for the Life Skylander. Everything I could think of just had something to do with Dragonfly, which I thought was too obvious, and there would probably be dozens of other people submitting that idea.

I named the dragonfly "Bonzai", a mixture of the word "bonsai" (a real small plant) and the word "banzai", a battle cry or cheer.

I only subbmitted one for the dolphin under the name of

I named the dolphin character "Swordnose," totally not original, but his backstory was.
He was the defender of the Ocea Major-Minor (part of the Eternal Water Source).


I named the vampire "Batressa," similar to the one that nocturnalnathan did.


For the dragonfly, I chose "Buzzinger," myeh. I put that he was a friend of Sparx.


I was dead asleep when I named them.

Darting Line for the dragonfly. A combination of a darter (a type of dragonfly), and starting line because of his uniform.

I didn't enter for the other two because I couldn't think of anything.
For the dolphin, I got stuck on bludgeon or cudgel but never got any farther than that.

I named the dragon guy "Dragonfive" (because of the number and its almost a dragonfly pun) and the dolphin I named "Maelstrom".

I named the dolphin Barrier Grief (because he had a shield and his sword looked mean) and the bat girl Fangtasia.

Considering the 3 and at first when I looked at the directions, I only submitted for the dragonfly character. I named him Chase Zipper. Since he had the number 5 like a mask seemed much to do with a racing, and the fact of him being a cross of a bug, zipper seemed to fit there as well.

Names submitted for:

dolphin/porpoise: Bowline, Dread Knot, Gang Plank, and Hydrofoil.

bat girl: Microbat and Nocturn

Dragonfly: didn't submit one

For the dragonfly I put "Drag Flier". Drag would be short for Dragon. He looks like a racer. But instead of racing he flies, so Drag Flier was what came to me.

For the dolphin, "Captain Blowhole". I was on the edge. Don't tell me what I was thinking.

For the bat girl, "Batty Mage". It's a pun on Batting Cages.

For some reason, I wanted to submit "Baton Rouge" for the bat girl. Bat/on Rouge? get it...

I went with

"Multi Porpose"
and then again with

"Splash Slash"

I Went with "Seed Racer" for the dragonfly character. A pun on "Speed Racer" - seed because he is life element, and racer because of the number and racing goggles. I was also going to go with "weed racer", but weed seems to have a negative connotation in most circles.

Dolphin: Keel Haul

Born from the tides of Salty Bay, Keel Haul was raised as an expert shipwright.
When Kaos attacked, Keel Haul forged a mighty vessel, The Jet Porpoise, to fend him off.
Eon then called upon him.

Dragon fly I named Fleye Fiven,like high fiveing because of the 5 on his head and spelled fly the way I did because of his big eyes.

Dolphin guy I named Phinami mixture of dolphin and tsunami just thought that was cool.

Batgirl I named Batcula because she has vampire like teeth like Dracula. Stayed away from the tornado/wind thing on bottom. I thought a lot of ppl would insinuate that in there,plus the little kids will most likely remember her by the bats as well as most of us it looks like lol.
