Really depends on how you're fixed for money in general. And whether or not you would get more by the time Smash comes out.

If your birthday is before Autumn, and assuming you get money on you birthday, then I'm sure you can afford at least one other brand new game besides Smash, and still have the money for that when it comes out.

Remember, Smash is coming out anytime between now and Christmas, too. It could easily be on your Christmas list, if you end up unable to afford it.
