I found it (without cards, stickers, codes) at a resale shop for 60.00. The question is, should I hold out for a cheaper set? Or is this as cheap as its gonna get without using eBay.

Is it the only resale shop around? Cause i think they may be taking you for a ride. It looks like thats about how much you would pay on ebay....I know the resale shop i go to has a standard price for all skylanders regardless of rarity. Thats how i got boomer and the special green gillgrunt for $6 each. But if thats the cheapest you can find it and you want it that bad i say go for it

When i got mine Darklight Crypt brand new for $40 from craigslist, the package edges was bend but it's ok since i was gonna open it anyway and when i bought another darklight crypt set loose with cards snd stickers for my cousin, it also cost me the same price $40 so i recommend to keep looking and hope you find something cheaper.

Unless prices have increased significantly in the past month or so, you should be able to get it brand new for that price. Definitely pass.

If it is the cheapest you have found, buy it

Thanks paintskylanders. That's very generous. I think I'm gonna bite the bullet n get em. Its the first time I've even seen them in soooo long. Lol with my luck I will see em cheaper the very next day.

eBay is overall cheaper.

I know it will probably go up in the next 2 hrs, but there is a crypt on ebay listed at 10.50 + 5.00 shipping. Only 2 hrs left to bid, but its cheaper than 40 if you can win it.

One of the Vintage Stock stores near me has the exact same deal -- Darklight Crypt adventure pack, figures only, for $60.

I can't make an eBay account because I don't have a bank Account anymore
I tried setting one up with a Walmart debit card but it didn't work.
But I'm thinking I'm gonna go back there n get it today

Wonder if someone within the company put together a pricing list on these figures and distributed out to all the stores.

Some of the Legendary figures will end up being $20 (which seems ridiculous for a used figure only.
But, did manage to find a Crusher and S1 Bash for half-off their original prices.

Does the Walmart debit card work with paypal? I'm not sure if there's another way of paying (i.e. another service like paypal that might accept it).

No credit unions by u?? $5 is what most need to open an account.

I went n traded in some old ps2 games and basically got the darklight crypt set for free from em. Didnt have the cards or anything but oh well. Im just happy to have it. I also grabbed a series 1dark spyro for 20.00.
Just need a few more series 1 characters, then il start on the ones from giants.
