TRU has it for the same price as well as Tower of Time and the 2 battle packs from Swap Force and the 2 from Giants. If you have one nearby, you can always pick it up there and return it to Walmart with your Walmart receipt.

That's about how much they should really charge for Adventure Packs.

I..actually don't think so. While anything above 25$ is overkill, I do think that the figure itself along with the three other items included make the price justifiable.

I always though the $19.99 price range for Adventure Packs/Triples (for the first game) was a good place. Anything less and it seems like a "discount" more and it seems high.

Swappers at $16.99 at TRU is absurd. I think the price range should be (retail):

Starter (console) - $69.99
Starter (handheld) - $59.99
Single - $8.99
Lightcore - $10.99
Swapper/Giant - $14.99
Triple/Adventure/Battle - $19.99
Double Swapper/Giant - $24.99

I know Giant Doubles don't exist, but they should have. I think the console price should represent the price of the game, but recognize that buying the game sets you up for future purchases, and the handheld should definitely be cheaper. If the prices were in these ranges I wouldn't complain at all (about prices), even if sales were rare.

Exactly. The only way I'd buy swappers at TRU is if they were exclusive (unfortunately, they have 2 exclusive swappers, and a few other special figs...) or if they had a sale.

This sounds perfect. I wish Gamestop would have never raised their prices or else we'd still be paying $19.99 for triples/adventures and $7.99 for single figures.....

Yeah, but most of those aren't prices coming down, those are actually the original prices (singles were $7.99 and the starter was more originally). It was easier to jump into the franchise and collect when you don't think they are overcharging. Jacking up prices, hitting the well to often with reposes/variants, too many figures a year ... these are all things that can eventually kill a franchise.

Yeppers. I still recall in the old days when figures were $7.99 and adventure pack was $19.99. It was a no brainer then...now they've managed to double prices between the Giant/Swap jump and TRU on crack. I don't think so.

7.99$ for the core figures was a glorious time. We'll never forget that period of the series.

Is that seriously what they used to be? Man, that does sound like good times... I would have been more fine with even paying 20 for a pack rather than 25.

Swappers at $16.99 at TRU is absurd.

If only things were that cheap around here (Finland) smilie Almost $28 (after conversion from Euros) per swapper. $21 per SSF LightCore. $37 for SWI. Etc. Sucks.
