I'm thinking any one of the bosses from Dark Souls would be hard for him, but, you know...he's a dragon.

He wouldn't be able to beat even the easier enemies in Okami since he doesn't have thumbs or a magical paintbrush tail. :D

It's easy to pull a lever without thumbs, though, and I think he's done it before in-game. Anything that required fine motor skills of the hands would be beyond him, though. :D

He couldn't beat the final boss in Beyond Good & Evil, either, since only Jade had what was needed for that fight. Nor could he beat any bosses in the Ratchet and Clank series since no thumbs means no guns. :D

Metal Overlord from Sonic Heroes. The only way to beat him was to use Team Blast, plus that fight took place in the sky. Spyro can fly, but some of his friends can't.

True, but there aren't any power ups like that in any of the RnC games that I've played, so the point still stands. :D
Also: Spyro couldn't do anything in Aquaria. It'd be hilarious hearing him try to sing for his powers, though. :D |

The Ender Dragon from Minecraft too. Remember how Spyro can only do long range moves with the help of cannons and the like? Well,I hope he can survive around 10 explosions in an area without farm animals to give health so he can actually fight that guy properly.

Consider the cinematic elements the Spyro series adopted and evolved...Naughty Dog has been doing some of the same stuff, starting with, not Uncharted, but Jak II. And they almost always do their video games right. Heck, I've never known them to mess up a game.
And since they've showed their capabilities of crafting supplies in The Last Of Us and they've showed how explosive they can make weapons in Jak 3, ALSO CONSIDERING THE FREE-ROAM WORLDS IN JAK II AND JAK 3, I'm really thinking that they're capable of bringing him back from the dead. Heck, they can practically make the next Spyro game something like what Dawn of the Dragon should have been, times a million!!!!! I'm saying they can make it a movie in video-game form!!!!!! They have the capability, and since they're going back to Uncharted and they're probably going to make a second team, they should DO IT. YES, I know that Activision still has Spyro under a contract, but Naughty Dog is VERY talented!!!!! Heck, they might be able to even bring back CRASH, because the dang dogs can find room for HUMORRRRRR!!1!!1! |

Well, it'd never happen because Naughty Dog aren't independent anymore. They were bought by Sony a couple of years ago, around about the time Sucker Punch, somewhere between Uncharted 2 and 3 I think.
Besides, Naughty Dog are sticking with Uncharted and The Last of Us for now, the former I haven't played much of and the latter is spectacular, so I couldn't see them swaying back to children's/teens games any time soon. |

Well, remember how crazy Jak got in the later games? One thing I'm glad about is that Daxter retained his sarcastic personality throughout every game, which, in some cases, can be compared to some parts of Spyro's personality. It's weird, though, humor like that isn't tossed around these days (Rayman Origins and Legends only makes a minor exception; my friend doesn't give a dang about that limbless guy). I mean, I myself still have some ideas (get out of here, Aura24), but to be working with Naughty Dog...THAT would make the revival more possible. |

I mean, really, if he tried to shoot with the thing, he wouldn't be able to. It'd make a little bit of sense for him to carry it in his mouth, but then he might accidentally swallow it and then would have to spit it out.

Actually, they've been a subsidiary of Sony since 2001. It made more sense financially for Naughty Dog to cut ties with Universal and just work directly for Sony. So the Jak games were made as a 2nd party studio. By contrast, Insomniac went back to being independent after their contract with Universal expired, although they never made a game for a non-Sony system until 2013. <.<;

But isn't that good in this case? Because this forum has been dead and the Spyro fandom hasn't been very active. IMO, it's NICE to see someone trying to promote some discussion, even if it's just fan-speculation.
Anyway, I'd try drawing that, but I can't share it here anyway because I have no image uploader to upload it onto.

Seriously, when you consider the TLoS's dark themes, with the gloomy music and the jet-black shadows, you can tell that the series's setting was in a time of darkness, which perfectly describes the medieval era. Yep, THAT series isn't based in the modern world.
The original Spyro trilogy clearly showed that the original Spyro's world is modern-world, because THAT series had characters with guns, characters with camera equipment, and characters with a whole bunch of modern-day artillery. Despite that, Spyro doesn't have thumbs. Even though he can use cannons and army tanks just fine, he couldn't hold things in his front paws, he'd need to use his mouth. He knows how to handle switches, though, so I'm just thinking...how well do you think he can use a smartphone? NOTICE: IF YOU'RE NEW TO THE THREAD, I'M TALKING ABOUT THE ORIGINAL SPYRO |
